Rookie error: Left the lights on. Had to have my car jump started. Then had to (under police instruction) drive with my hazards on all the way home, and that meant going really slowly. Sakes.

worked until 6.45am friday night/saturday morning... by the time I got up one of my house-mates was up doing his breakfast.

Barely slept, then last night another house mate rings me at 3am [drunk, naturally] (not long after I go to sleep) to ask how he gets home as he lost in a part of the city he doesn't know with no money. He then starts shouting the numbers of buses down the phone, apologises for waking me up then hangs up without waiting for directions. Haven't seen him today so no idea if he made it home.

I'll be able to afford one when I start my new job, but still might not be able to get one much before Christmas. Just ridiculous money. Looking at quotes with PassPlus didn't seem to make much difference, even if I can do it for ?90.
