It can't be street legal there can it? I bet its faster that anything the police have :laugh

Posted a video of a friends dragster before, well, he's put up some slow-mo videos of a wheelie from the last round of the season. The front wheels really should break when they come down!

So manly.

Didn't really watch it before this series but after last week I'm rather looking forward to it.

It's insured for road use, though rarely used, it's covered in roll bars and you can't actually reach the handbrake when strapped in! Have to use treaded tyres on the road, but that's it. Not used very often, obviously being a race car, you don't want damage. It also drinks a lot of fuel, uses about 5 litres for the quarter mile, at road going pace I doubt it'd do 1 MPG, maybe 2.

Inbetweeners should be good tonight, last weeks was epic. Speedo time!

Sureshot do you happen to know the Quarter mile times for that car? Id imagine its less than 13? Looks faster than any production car, I used to have a 350 hp Camaro SS that did about high 14-15s completely stock .

9.571 is it's fastest, tends to be around 9.7, which is impressive as it weighs 3800lbs, then again it does have around 850hp. 0-60(100kmh) in around 2 seconds. More often than not on 2 wheels.

Terminal speed of around 140mph.

Under 10 is seriously fast, glad to see you guys enjoy drag racing as well. I always thought Americans got a bum rap for liking straight line racing and not circuit racing. Its not our fault that all our freeways are straight lines!

There is just something about a muscle car that appeals more to me than a curvy and sleek European sports car. Probably because I can actually take advantage of a big block engine when on the freeway.
