I wanna get drunk and celebrate but giving how badly I did I'd feel guilty celebrating. Sigh. :(

Go get drunk ARay. For me. Then log onto PC. Maybe reveal your role in the Mafia thread ;)

On the plus side...finally getting to play for the 'official' Uni team tomorrow, against the best side in the group. Hoping I get a chance to bowl and not screw up :p Then there is the match vs. HKU on 25th.

You wish :p

Good luck dude! :)
Im sure it will go awesome!

Inshallah. First game went well, but our team is so much stronger second time around. I opened in the first game and could very well be batting 9/10/11 here, not to mention I'm now second choice spinner and am not guaranteed 7 overs. Not even the best fielder in the side now :p We should destroy them.

I spwed in a girls face tongith who tried to pull me :( When I wake up tomorrow i want cures to vomit pains and to get the taste out nose and mouth

ah crap, just realised that I forgot to clock off at work (McD's) yesterday, it was only my second shift so I'm not used to it....
Should I call up or just go on my next shift and tell the manager and my trainer?

Wait till the end of your next shift then clock off and as your walking out mention in passing how that 60 hour shift really took it out of you to divert suspicion. Easy money.

Got my heat for the Open Case Competition tomorrow morning. It's part of a university club I'm a member of (Management Consulting Club), and I'm quite nervous about it.

We are in teams of four and we get three hours to analyse a company case and make a ten minute presentation to judges about what we feel this company should do in the future. We then get questioned for ten minutes about our strategy and presentation in general.

I'm the finance person for my team, so I have to go over how our proposed strategy affects the company financially - by how much does it improve the bottom line, and similar stuff. I'm not a very good public speaker so doing stuff like this scares me :p Especially the Q&A, because you have to think on your feet a lot. The other three people in my group are debaters or have done it before so they're good at that sort of stuff :/ On top of that there is a lot of pressure on me because I have to get the numbers correct or else everyone else makes mistakes, and I get questioned a lot :( And ten minutes is a hell of a long time answering questions under pressure.

Should be interesting to see how I go. Got butterflies in my stomach already :p

My team won our heat so we're through to the semifinals :D Competed against 4 other teams, and a number of them were apparently pretty strong so I'm really happy :D We are against 7 other teams, with 4 going through to the final.

Apparently our slides were excellent and our speaking was really good. We also made very insightful points which was pleasing to hear :D Apparently it was obvious that we all had experience public speaking before, but I've done next to none so I was very happy with that comment :D

I'm in a happy mood now :D

Yea it's an internal competition. If I want I can apply for the development squad that competes against other universities domestically and internationally
