Yup :p Kinda sad that I'm 19 and still on my restricted. My gf is on her learners though which is slightly annoying seeing as she lives over the shore.

It's nearly impossible for the police to catch you for this sort of offence though.

It wasn't 3 days ago, I got a fine for passengers. The annoying thing was the cops said "I don't want to knock on your parents door at 3am saying you've been in a crash" Then gives me a fine and lets me drive off with a car full of passengers :facepalm

"Crusaders were beaten by a better team" Haha you know it Chris Jack.

Well at 3am is a bit different :p

I only take passengers during the day, and drive after 10 if it's close to my place.

They never stop people during the day (unless you're speeding), and if I'm close to my house, the likelihood is really small. And I just avoid the main roads.

I have sober driven before though, but one of my mates had had his full for over two years so it was fine (until I drove back after dropping him off...)

I got my full when I was 19. I slacked around and waited till I was 17 when I got my learners, got my restricted as soon as I could (passed second time) and got my full as soon as I could.

As long as you don't drive like a hoon, the police won't pull you over. And tell your passengers not to shout things at other drivers or throw McDonald's out the car.

Man the Highlanders have been so impressive this season. I gave them no chance after their dismal showing last year.

Haha I got my learners soon after my 17th birthday :p Got my restricted a year later, and I can get my full in July, while I'm still 19, so I'm basically on the same track as you :p

Haha speaking from personal experience? ;) I only have one friend who would do that. Car rides drunk are always a good experience with him. We drive a long, he's shouting out to watch out for each car that passes, opens the door and is just quite annoying, but amusing at the same time.

Highlanders have been the revelation of the season really. I didn't think they had any hope, but they've been in amazing form. My dad follows the Highlanders (being an Otago man himself), so I can continuously hear him shouting out his happiness from downstairs when the Highlanders are playing.

Here's a tip: Don't boot it to get through a yellow light because you will fail.

:lol Nah, I would go nuts if my mates did that. They're usually good. My mates don't go and get wasted.

I don't follow Union as much these days. I used to be right into it but now I prefer league.

I have been able to go for my full for a while now but after driving around for a year without really paying much attention to the restrictions you don't really feel the need to get your full. Now after getting my first fine I'm way too paranoid so I think it's best to book it this week :p

I'm the same, growing up I was right into union but league is my preferred code now. Obviously I'm loving the Highlanders rugby at the moment though.

And yeah the Breakers have been great to watch. I don't know if I want them to win tomorrow or lose and win the final at home. Probably best if they wrap it up tomorrow and I can't see them losing if they play defense like they did in game one. Kirk Penney should be in the NBA!

Yea, I was so nervous when I went for my full. The list of things I'd rather do than go for my full was pretty long. But my mate said just drive like a granny. Luckily for me as well the instructor was really nice and friendly, unlike the other stone faced gargoyles that work at the VTNZ.

Kirk Penney should be in the NBA!

He was called up by the Spurs to try get a roster spot but then they said they didn't want him. I hope they're watching him now.

Yeah I think he's just unlucky that most NBA teams can't afford to have many extra players that they might not use on their rosters. Apparently he's really unlucky due to the financial situation of most NBA clubs at the moment.

We got a not-for-profit case in the semifinal which is pretty annoying, because it's so different to what we've done before. And there are next to no 'finances' as such because they're not looking to make a profit, so my role changes. I was just in charge of numbers, like the number of members of the organisation, and the amount of fundraising. Which in some ways is actually better because I don't need to do many calculations.

We won our semifinal though :D So now we're through to the final tomorrow. It's really annoying because there are hardly any buses being Easter Sunday, so I have to drive everyone into uni. Which is technically illegal. Oh well.

Got a real weird case in the final. Didn't like it at all, and I got hammered on the finance side in the question and answer. We didn't win (the team who came second in our semifinal won :/) but I'm just happy to get to the final :)

Didn't have to take my team into uni either; they all got rides which was very nice :)

Couldn't have wished for a tougher paper of Digital Logic Circuits than the one I got today to kickstart the main semester examinations . :facepalm Should pass with relative ease though .. :D

So lost the will to live with uni at the moment. Got a 4,000 and 2,500 word essays due for Thursday and a 15 min presentation next week and I've still got 2 years to go. Never has crawling under a rock looked so tempting.
