Random Thoughts

Memory loss is a scary prospect. Our very identity, and what makes us the person we are is formed from those memories. If you take them away, you take away a part of the person.

Alzheimers petrifies me.

What are the doctors saying? Do they think the memories will return? If so, be patient.

He's just like 20 though. He had a boxing match against Vijender Singh which was tied and later that night had the operation (on 13th that is). It seems Docs messed something up. Because the operation was for like upper part of the back. We're all trying to get what's the connection with that and the memory loss. Plus, docs have given a 2 days deadline in which he needs to remember or he will lose it. He's now in Delhi and we're stuck here helpless! Video calls, etc. etc. aren't helping either.

Spinal injuries can effect anything. As could concussion. Hope he's ok dude.

Sometimes time heals best.

He's perfectly fine now, that operation was successful. Only thing is he doesn't remember any of his friends. Past or present. Even his GF. Knows the college he is in but, doesn't know his course and syllabus and teachers. Very strange case. We're worried.

Well best of luck to him dude. Hope it all works out.

@ Barmy, I presume you ran this clinic with Rosemary and Basil whilst booming out some Salt n Pepa through the speakers. Hopefully it hasn't been too chilli during these cold winter months.

I think chances of recovery are much greater when you're young.

@PD - maybe you're too young...

Edit: first broadcast in 1968. Ok so I got the repeats...

Yes, I was too young for that... Were you in Scotland as a child? As they might not have been repeats over there ;)

Thanfully I got to grow up with the delights of David Jason or Playdays/Playbus.

Actual London, or fake London like Clapham etc? Whereaboots? I think I may have asked you this before, but it was probably at least 5-7 years ago :p
