It's not so much that you get hungry when drunk as more that you just want to eat something tasty, more that you get more impulsive.

You don't get hungry after certain class A drugs... but alcohol is a different story all together. Many a bit of food I wouldn't touch sober has been munched with the same vigour as an awesome steak.

After a night out I love cheesy chips with garlic sauce. Only found that out by accident, too.
