I read that Sledger. Very interesting indeed, although it's looking like it's a one off.

My predictions:

Jack Swagger vs. Matt Hardy
John Cena vs. JBL
Beth Phoenix vs. Melina
Jeff Hardy vs. Edge
Royal Rumble - Mr Kennedy or MVP.

I dont watch ECW. So, I am not concerned about Matt Hardy's match.

John cena will win it. I am expecting HBK to screw JBL tonight.

Beth Phoenix will win it as usual.

Jeff Hardy should win it. He is full of energy after the series of incidents happened to him.

Just noticed that my 2 predictions came 1st (Orton) and 2nd (Triple H). Me = win.

Apparently it's a one night only deal anyway, the reason he was thrown into the mix is because the event was hosted in michigan and they needed a surprise entrant to get a decent reaction from the crowd, really hope it'll be made into a permanent return though.

Despite the fact that I am really annoyed that Jeff Hardy lost the title, I think this Matt heel turn is a great piece of work, and should set up the matches that I really want to see at WM (hopefully) of Matt vs Jeff and Edge vs Christian (loved the "we want christian" chants last night). If that all goes to plan I would say the WM card will look something like this.

Cena vs Orton
Edge vs Christian
Jeff vs Matt
Jericho vs HHH
Taker vs HBK

Would like to see all of those tbh, even Cena/Orton.

Was pretty obvious Orton would win it after the Raw last week. This is the only way he wouldn't be fired for what he did to McMahon.

So there are WWE watchers here? Me I wanted Paul Levesque to win but anyway Orton isn't a bad pick at all. Though was thundered by R.V.D there.

Not as gooda choice as MVP or Mr Kennedy

(I think WWE should use Royal Rumble as a tool to promote a quality upper mid-carder to the main event myself. Same as they should with the King of the Ring, not letting friggin' William Regal win it.)

Funny thing is, Regal is better in ring than either MVP or Kennedy.

I agree to an extent that the Rumble should be used to promote new talent, but in order for it to be credible whoever wins needs to go into the match on the back of some momentum, for MVP to go in and win after being buried for month on end, or Kennedy to win having been out of action for the best part of 4 months wold not have been viable in anyway whatsoever.

Besides, the E will always go with whoever they think will draw biggest, and that in this case will unquestionably be Cena/Orton.
