Friends i think Tendulkar has lost his aggressive attitude and really thats why his form is really going down now a days.

Needs to be more psoitive, we can really see in his scores in the test matches,

Really disappointing to see him not score many runs as he used to.

anyway ur views mates.

no i think his doing okay. his just run into a bad patch.

i think he needs to watch videos of himself batting in the past to help regain his confidence.

i want to see him at his best as he was in the world cup 2003 in south africa

No. I feels he needs to be his usual aggressive self.

This way, he can be as destructive as he was before and can break more and more records in the coming years

don't forget guys he is recovering from a pretty serious elbow injury..

well , i suppsoe i had started a similar thread like this.
Anyhow,he's not focussing on cricket .There are other things on his mind like the 35th ton, etc.
He needs a BREAK as soon as possible,. so that he can come back .

I think he has really mellowed down over the years, tends to go for the big knocks, rather than the big hits now. But I think he's been over-defensive in the last series against Pakistan, he should play his natural attacking game. He may not play in a Swashbuckling manner anymore, like he used to do in the 90's, but he should look to score at a good clip, as his major strength is attack, IMO.

It was pretty depressing to see Sachin virtually be dominated by a bowler like Kaneria under home conditions, although it must be granted that Kaneria is pretty talented, Tendulkar should've taken him head on to put more pressure on him.

Yes...we don't want another Sehwag--just a player who can be counted as an asset instead of a liability. Especially after the great profits he brought in the recent years.

Liability ? Tendulkar ?

He won't be a liability even when he doesn't score a single run because:
1. He has an excellent overall attitude towards the game and has a positive, calming experience on his younger teammates.
2. Is the most experienced one day player currently and perhaps the most experienced test player. He's seen all sorts of situations and this experience helps him in furthering the cause of the team.
3. Is a decent partnership-breaker sort of bowler, lends variety to the attack.
4. Is a very good fielder, especially in the outfield, possessing great speed, commitment and an accurate throw.

He can become a liability if he destroys the momentum of the batting. I am not saying he is always a liability (especially when compared to Ganguly) but he certainly can become one. He brings a lot to the table for sure but there are some definite ways he can change the face of the game negatively for India. I am not bashing Tendulkar so don't make this another Here-are-Sachin's-stats kind of thing.

He has influence on the younger players. If he is dominated by bowlers, the younger players give more respect (maybe too much) to those bowlers. With power comes responsibility (where have I heard that before?). Therefore his stature brings many positives but it can also turn around against him.

The name is Sachin Tendulkar! There Is alot of pressure on You when you have The name so called "sachin"Almost Every one Expects him To do well,Perhaps He is called The world Greatest batsman,Hai come on now,He isnt doing bad at all,His bowling performance have been impressive so far,No need to tease The "Little Master"He has been In poor forms Through out his career,But He always manages To Do it Right in The right moment,There Is a Reason why Every one calls him The Worlds Greatest Batsman!

Wow. Really appreciate those comments from you, fardin. Especially since they were so unexpected. What happened to Inzy? Wasn't he the best batsmen in the world a few weeks ago? :D On a serious note...

I have always been one to support Sachin Tendulkar. The man is so great that even when he puts in excellent performances we rate it as ordinary. He can score at an average of 75 in a serious and not get a 100 and we'll wonder, "What's wrong with him?" So just leave him alone. If you want to fix something, go do something to Ganguly. :p

He is getting older, its been known that as players age they become less expansive. Take Gooch and Gower for example. They used to play shots (good ones mind) all over the shop.........then as they got older they restricted their gampleay to adapt to their changes as they have aged.
