Sam's ExE Patch

Doesnt work !! I bowled 3 overs and dint even get one ball to swing !!

The inswinging one certainly works for me. I think which type of swing you get depends on where you bowl from.

e.g. closer to the stumps=outwing

I use the default angle and have been getting HUGE outswing and quite a few deliveries have nipped back in as well. I was bowling in the nets. Yet to try it out in a real match. Remember, full speed for prominent swing and seam. Also avoid pitching the ball too full up. It is kind of late swing, so the batsman might play the ball before it swings.
If this doesn't help, then maybe it is your settings. If it is not that then I am stumped  :what

EDIT: BTW Who gave me some reps? You do realize I was kidding right  .
Thanks any way :) .

Try moving the cursor in the opposite direction..... for legcutter move the dot to the right and vice versa for the off cutter .....there was a few tips in this a 'few ' posts prior and I hope I have it correctly in this post :upray

Yea you do.
Re-read my post again Pat. Move the cursor to the right for OUTSWING(the ball swings to the left) and vice-versa.

Obviously this is switched about if the bowler is a lefty  .

i'm getting lots of swing as well....even with the normal delivery button...its usually swinging in the opposite direction to where i place the ball marker

Well one thing i would like to know is whether the swing is consistent ? I mean even i get the ball to swing once in a while but it is not at all consistent !!

If only sam would release his Gob Tool editor we all could add stuff to the game. One thing I don't understand is sam has the gob tool editor as he showed us earlier why doesn't he release it.

What do you want to add to the game? The Gob Tool allows you to replace any of the noname files you can extract with MultiEx so unless you have cracked the 3D models I'm not sure what you want to add. All the new bmp files have been added to GI3 so I don't see what you want to replace. However I'll see about getting the Beta version, which I have been using, into general release.

too many byes on hard pitches, with this patch, I played India vs England as India, England made 372/8 with 76 extras. In 25 overs I was 191/4 with 82 extras. I quit the game then.

Major Breakthrough!

Med/Fast or Fast Bowlers-

Outswing=
1. Press D(Charge down/Leg cutter). Mover cursor late to right. Full Speed(100%)
Result: Huge Outswing. Might not work(needs to be done perfectly)
2. Press D. Move cursor late to the left. Not quite full speed(85-95%)
Result: Regular Outswing. Quite consistent, again has to be done perfectly.
3.Press D. Move cursor late to the left. Slowish speed(70-80%)
Result: Leg Cutter/Away seam movement. Fairly consistent.

Inswing=
1. Press A(Leave ball/Off cutter). Mover cursor late to left. Full Speed(100%)
Result: Huge Inswing. Might not work(needs to be done perfectly)
2. Press A. Move cursor late to the right. Not quite full speed(85-95%)
Result: Regular Inswing. Quite consistent, again has to be done perfectly.
3.Press A. Move cursor late to the right. Slowish speed(70-80%)
Result: Off Cutter/In seam movement. Fairly consistent.

Spinner(Offie/Slow left arm)-

Doosra=
Press S(Front foot shot/Regular delivery). No speed. Don't move cursor.
Result: Ball floats away from right hander(away from left hander for SLA). Very consistent (and quite annoying frankly).

I was bowling last night with the exe and was wondering where the swing left the exe coz' I wasn't getting any......what would you consider to be late??? on the point of delivery??? may lead to a lot of no balls if you can't control your bowler's speed!!

Simply put-The cursor should stop the same time you stop the speed meter. Hey. I never said it was easy

Also it seems that method two dosen't work on Dry/Dusty/Hard pitches, nor does the doosra. You have to use method one for those pitches. Maybe thats why?

Also method 2 works best with bowlers who have 80+ in inswing/outswing.
