In the xbox version of cricket 2005 you cannot save a match which your playing which makes playing a test match unplayable, really am annoyed, is this the same for the pc and ps2?

At the end of an over it doesnt give you the option to save? It does that in the PC version but not after every ball or anything.

no it just says, continue, change bowler, statistics and quit, dont say save :(, unless im blind or summing

When you press quit - does it not give you the option of saving or leaving the game ?

you're right, ive got the xbox version and also cant find a save game function during games. when you quit you still dont get the option to save, and there is no option to save on the pause menu that i can see.

Does anybody know if this is the case with the PS2 version? I've had Cricket 2002 & 2004 for PS2 and they both had a save option. I'm going to pick up the game tomorrow for PS2 but if I can't save between overs I mite just have to think again about getting it.

As far as I know, this is the first time EA Cricket has been on Xbox so it looks like its down to poor coding by HB/EA. I can't imagine they'd have left it out deliberatly.....

saving

does anyone know if you can save it at the end of an over on the ps2.

haha thats funny. Don't look like anyone will be getting it on xbox then :D i mean whats the point if you can't save. I'd take it back and get a refund.

i wouldnt buy it on xbox. i doubt i'd be buggered to play a 50 over a side ODI match without stopping let alone a test match.

anyway BLC comes out on xbox 2...

so i guess ucant autoplay after u started then huh?
