Scary Stories!

Simple really. The one thing that precludes ghosts existing is the fact that the people are dead.

LOL - how incredibly blunt :p

There was a true story which was similar to this I think. I read it some where. Well, actually there are many stories regarding strange attic noises. That sort of inspired me!

Make another story! It was entertaining!

I need time. May do one tomorrow.
Edit: I've got a couple of long ones that I did for my GCSE Coursework. I'll post them later. A* material they are

Nah, no joking. I did get an A*. I am predicted 10 A*, an A, and a B for my GCSEs, according to my latest report! ( The B is for P.E., took it just for a few hours of leisure time during the course).

Short one:
We all know why we are here, gentlemen. This case has been a grave concern to a large number of people; not only to the locality but to every single person who cares about the value of life.

The guardians of the young victim - Mr and Mrs Flanders, are devastated. Therefore, they?ve decided to hire us- the finest, most reliable and efficient detectives in England. They have faith in our efficiency and we must not let them down. We must not let the killer escape as that would be a grave miscarriage of justice.

This is the crime scene. The victim?s been butchered. The floor is smeared with blood. There is no wonder that large amount of blood has been lost given the fact that the only remains are a head and what looks like the remains of two hands. I have never seen anything like this before and I doubt any of you have. If you examine the victim closely you will notice the teeth marks just above the wrist. The criminal is a menace to the public.

There is a broken window here, which leads to the neighbour?s house. The obvious suspects are the neighbours. The suspect has previously shown malicious interest in the victim. The footprints on the floor lead straight to neighbour?s house. Furthermore, I think that the forensic department will confirm that hair found here will match with the suspect.

Given the evidence, I think it is safe to conclude that Timothy Jones, the feline is guilty of murdering Jim the hamster
Not the best, I know.

Haha that was funny!
I had to read the end bit again because i was thinking what the hell?!
:p

Sachin, the forum rules say that you have to follow the instructions of moderators. I have asked you to post in clear and understandable English (without abbreviations) for the benefit of all forum members, many of whom may not be able to understand what you write, due to it being an illiterate mess. So please, cut the abbreviations.

And if you're going to claim that your stories are true, and provide no evidence to back that claim up, I am justified in saying that you are a liar.

OK...man i won't type in abbreviations...but can you send me a link that talks about no abbreviations in this forum..something like that....and one another thing i don't have any evidence to back up my stories...but think, why would i lie to you guys...i mean i don't have any enemy in this forum....and how would i have any evidence when this events happened to me...i mean its not just me, everybody has their own story. Why don't you ask them for the evidence for their own story?? It tells me that I am your enemy.....Anyway, i will follow the rules and i have been following in the past....So send me the link that tells anything about abbreviations....I would be glad to see it and follow....

What follows happened about four years ago in an old mill house in Leeds, England. My friend Matt and his family had just moved into the house. One night, Matt was sitting on the couch, which was near the door to the attic. Suddenly, Matt heard a loud noise like paint cans falling down the attic stairs. Then he felt like someone was standing right over him. He whirled his fist around as if to punch someone, but there was no one there. He didn't tell me about this at the time. One day his mother asked him if anything strange had ever happened to him in the house. He told her the story, and she said that the exact same thing had happened to her. Matt would often hear sounds like walking around and doorknobs turning all through the night. It scared him so much that he slept with a knife under his bed.

When Matt married, his parents moved to Bristol and he and his wife moved into the house. Matt still had not told his wife about his experiences, so she was completely unaware of anything that had happened. Shortly after they moved in, she became pregnant. She was sick most of the time and she was alone in the house while Matt was at work. She would hear creaking sounds in the house, but She thought it was just "old house" sounds. Then one day she was sitting in the living room on the same couch mentioned earlier. She clearly heard someone walking down the hall. She got up, thinking Matt had come home early. There was no one there. She went into the kitchen and began cleaning and turned on the radio so she couldn't hear it anymore. She kept hearing things more and more, especially at night. Even when she would be in the shower, she would hear what sounded like a faint knock on the bathroom door, and often it seemed the doorknob would try to turn.

One day she was in the hallway about to call Matt because she had a really strong, strange feeling. She was going to ask him for us to stay somewhere else. She picked up the phone. There was no dial tone. Then it sounded as if there were someone running in the attic right above me - very loud and very clear. She grabbed the phone and ran out the door. The phone worked outside. She could not get in touch with Matt. She stayed outside for several hours waiting for him to come home. As soon as he got home, she told him what had happened. Then he told her about his experiences. When they went back in the house, everything was quiet. They didn't hear anything, so they decided to stay in the house that night. But that night it started again, very quietly at first. It would be so quiet that when they turned on the air conditioner they couldn't hear anything. Just as they had almost fallen asleep, right on top of their bedroom, it sounded just like a pyramid of paint cans had fallen right on top of them. Both of them jumped out of the bed and ran into the kitchen. Then Matt went up to the attic and opened the door. To his surprise, it was.......

THE INVISIBLE PINK UNICORN
THIS IS A TRUE STORY.

Great story, keeping me entertained.

I'm not saying I believe in ghosts, but about 4 years ago in my cousins house, I seen a bright light white figure which blinded me for 3 seconds walking across my room, I ran out of the room, but when I came back into my room with my cousins, it was gone.

I have requested you to post in clear and understandable English. I need not provide any link.

In the absence of any evidence, I am justified in calling you a liar, as you are making outlandish claims.

I tell you what is funny. You find it funny when people believe in Unicorns, but get annoyed when people find it funny when you believe in ghosts, which are an equally un-real phenomana.

OK time to rescue this thread from the depths.

Post any scary stories you want. If you want to delude yourself into thinking they're true, it's your choice, there's nothing I can do about it. Just remember, when you make claims such as seeing a basketball floating in the middle of the air, people are going to quite rightly assume that you're lying.

And, as requested, post in clear and understandable English.

I have just had to delete 8 off topic posts. On topic posts from now on include scary stories, and comments on those scary stories. One more off-topic post, and the thread will be closed.

Ok, lets get the threads purpose straight. Scary stories include, fake and ones you believe to be real. Debating ghosts existance will also go but please don't start arguments or else Andrew will close the thread.

So, anyone got any good stories?

Urm Andrew why did you just delete my post? I was contributing to the this topic so there was no need for that. Anyway i found a ghost story on the internet and here goes:

A few years ago I worked in the county museum which was housed in one of our town's founding father's old homes. It is a beautiful Gothic Revival style mansion and has been immaculately kept. I was in charge of security and m maintenance, and I was the first on the list to be called if the audio alarm ever went off. On Christmas morning of 1988, the security company called me around 7:00 a.m. and told me they heard children's voices and a dog barking. I went to the house to investigate and found absolutely nothing. The house, like our entire small city, were quiet on Christmas morning. A former employee of the museum--a total skeptic--onces admitted to seeing a lady in a long, white Victorian gown walking down the upstairs hall. Others had seen her as well over the many years the house had been open to the public. When I was attending classes at the local university, I would often go there at night to type my papers, and frequently I heard creaking floorboards, closing doors, and distant voices. Usually, I ran out of the building as quick as I could! The house itself is gorgeous--beautiful gardens, ornate rooms...but there is definetly a "feel" to the place. My only direct encounter was when I went to use the basement lavatory one day and found myself "locked" in by a giggling child. I went to open the door and found it forced shut by "someone", and I heard a yong child laughing on the other side of the door. Often, the house smelled inexplicably like roses. Other than these incidences, I'm not aware of many other occurences. Nothing was ever threatening about the place...only odd.

Nice story, when I was at Primary school, we used to have this Maltanese guy come in called Savior Perrota (sorry about the spelling). He's an author I believe, anyway, he was an awesome story teller, I'll try and find some for you guys.
