Dragging this up from the depths, I just had my first crack at one using the C4 overlay. It is a scorecard from my ICC08 game in like the 2020s. Awesome tutorial, by the way.

Thats a good scorecard. Just one thing that you need to change your text to smooth or sharp. That makes the text look better.
