I would venture to suggest that the situations aren't comparable because of the players. I think Sehwag, especially given his nature, should be given a much longer leash in reference to bad performances with the bat, especially in the test arena.

I think Sehwag is better because Jayasuriya is too old and probably will retire at the end of this year(I think) but India need to play sehwag more so he can get better Because I think he is a great player And can do alot in the indian cricket team
