Batting first,India managed to post a healthy 259/6 thanks mainlt to a great contribution from Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma. Sharma continued his great form with the bat and Gambhir came to the party.

Tendulakr-Sree pull Pak down in a close competition !

Sachin Tendulakr and Shantakumaran Sreesanth grabbed 3 wickets a piece to lead India to a close victory over arch-rivals Pakistan. India managed to beat Pak by just 10 runs.

Sreesanth's initial 3 wickets reduced Pakistan to 57/4 before Shoaib Malik and Fawad Alam resurrected the innings.It was then that Tendulakr came to take 3 wickets and left Pakisdtan reeling at 139/7. Everyone thought it was curtains for them. Anwar Ali and Sohail Tanvir scored respectable 49 and 26 and the tail wagged.For a moment it seemed that Pakistan would pull this one off,but the Indians kept their nerves.
