Should Tassie have an AFL team?

Tassie got a massive step forward in their campaign to get an AFL team with Mars bar offering 4 million dollars over 3 years as their major sponsor. The mars bar will be changed to the Beleive bar for the whole month of September. So my question is should us (Tassie) have an AFL team?

Of course use should. Why on earth should Western Sydney have a team? They are a city who all support NRL basically. Tassie has shown through Hawthorn and St. Kilda they can fill stadiums and with MARS coming on board it will only be a matter of time, before Demetriou says yes to tassie.

Well he is changing his view a bit after a radio interview. I don't know why the AFL wants a West Sydney team? It's all NRL over there. Gold Coast is a good idea though.

Well thats what most Sydney people will say however in tasmania half the population of whatever town their playing in (hopefully Hobart) would at least go to 4-5 matches a year.

4-5 matches? Sydney gets a good 30,000 to every match at the SCG and about 40k or more at ANZ. West Sydney would easily sell out most matches too. Depends how far west we are going though.
