Snow

A little bit of snow and they close school? In my day, you needed six inches of snow before they closed school!

I heard the chaps outside saying it's not to do with the students, but because all the teachers live outside of London and as such will find it incredibly difficult to make it in.

Woot! It's snowing pretty heavily in my school but I don't want to get home; Pelting teachers with snowballs is fun.

Little tip; It's not as fun when they return the favour...

It's rained really hard over night, but no snow!

No Frost even which is odd. Sun's out trying to be special again.

Bloody St Peters, leniant buggers. I most of the schools in Wolves ended early except Aldersley (my school).

They actually closed some schools yesterday based on the forcast before there was any snow!
I had to de-snow the car but it wasn't very deep and had all melted by midday. So much for getting the day off...

Well at least in your day, you were allowed snowball fights! Today they waited until we were all in the cafe (by locking all the doors to the playground) then kept us in the cafe until 5 minutes until lesson.

Bloody health and safety! Too scared of being sued, but seriously, if your son came home with a broken arm because he was mucking around in the snow, would you sue the school?

It was nearly 6 inches down here though.
