Snow

Bloody health and safety! Too scared of being sued, but seriously, if your son came home with a broken arm because he was mucking around in the snow, would you sue the school?

Most sensible people wouldn't, but the problem is there are some really bad parents out there who seem to think blaming everyone but themselves, or their own kids, when something goes wrong is the way to bring up well balanced children. It is unfortunate, but the risk of a couple of them sueing often means the rest have to miss out.

My parents have no problem blaming me. Then again , if you see what I get up to, you wouldn't have a problem either

Bumping this thread again.
Snow is for casted for next week. :(
I hate the winter!

Snow in winter is the best part of the school year!

Indeed it is. Aren't you in America Rohit?

Yeah.
I hate it though. You can't even go outside. It's like -10 to -20 degrees Fahrenheit in the mornings. You freeze your nose off walking from the car to the school.
We actually cheer when it gets in the early teens.
(0 degrees c is 32degrees f)

It's snowing quite frequently here since last week, and we're getting used to seeing temperatures below 0° celcius. But of course, this is just the "practice round" for the -25° -40° C temperatures yet to come. Last year we have hit up to -41° celcius (with wind chill), and you can imagine that running around in that weather with trackpants and t-shirts topped by a thin jacket in school is not the most comforting idea in the world.

At the moment, the outside temperature is -2° celcius. Here is quick photo of what the scenerey from the backside of our apartment looks like:

Hay I love snow
because when its Snow We have a really big snow ball fight in school like
year 11 vs year 10.
I really love the snow..:)

Lol. I wonder if it will snow much this year. Everyone said all winter that the big snows are gonna come. They never did.

I'd like it to snow this winter actually. I would like it overcast in March, April and May; hot in June, July and August; rainy in September, October and November and snowy in December, January and February. A perfect year.

I'd upload a photo of my backside, but it would just get removed ;)
