Okay guys, I'm facing a weird problem. Whenever I scroll down, the page seems to go down, and then go up a bit (for a mere half a second) and again go down. The problem is that it shouldn't go up for that half a second. Vice-versa happens when I scroll up. I can't figure out what's causing the problem. Everything worked fine a couple of days ago.

Any help will be appreciated. :)

Had this problem many times before. The single most annoying problem I had. Don't how I solved this though. I think it's a mouse problem. Try running spybot or use MouseFix.

Format the system. Not only it will solve this problem it will solve every problems.:thumbs

It may solve every problem but formatting frequently may lead to a damaged Hard Disk.

Mouse problem I suppose and for that I don't think you need to format your system ;)

Spybot didn't find any problems/spyware. And, I can't seem to find a link to Mousefix. Could you link me to it?

Are your graphics drivers updated? Also, make sure your monitor is set to the correct native resolution.
If I understand the problem correctly, the scroll action is jerky?

Yes. That's the first thing I did after I found the problem.

I don't really know what is native resolution. It's set 1152*864 and it's been like this for years.

Yeah, kind of. I can't exactly explain what the problem is. But, it's very annoying.

PS : I am trying to find a spare mouse that I used to have. It'll help me detect if there is a problem in the mouse itself.
