Could you see if the desktop icons are like the one on the left or the one on the right? Basically, transparent background or not..

Did you make any changes to the computer recently? Like, settings or hardware?

They have transparent background.

Yesterday, while I was away, a guy came to replace our wifi modem which was giving us some problems. And I've seemed to notice the problem after he left.

PS : The mouse is not faulty. I tried the old mouse (optical) and it seems to be worse. My current mouse (Laser) gives far less problems w.r.t scrolling.

A better explanation of the problem I'm facing :
Whenever I scroll page up or down using mouse wheel, the page just keeps scrolling up and down at the same position. Like when I scroll down 2 lines it scrolls up maybe 3-4 lines then down 1-2 lines again. Though, eventually it does go to the line I want if I keep scrolling, but this is annoying and really dizzy watching the page up and down.

Is your mouse working fine on other functions like clicking the folders. I had a problem before when I single clicked folder, the folder gets opened.
Everything works fine except the scrolling. Could you link me to mousefix (that you were talking about in your previous post)?

I can't find the link even. But I've uploaded here. It basically solved my single click problem. Not sure if it will solve yours.

I'll have a go at it. And, ''a single click to open'' isn't a problem. It can be manually corrected by control panel.

EDIT : Nah, it didn't fix the problem.

On my school laptop I'm using IE (the newest, I assume) and when I logged on a while back, I told it to 'remember credentials' for the internet. I wanna know how I can log in using another account.

Any ideas?

Umm.. what credentials are you talking about?
Like, did you do a "remember me" for logging into planetcricket or something?

Clear the Browsing History..
CTRL + Shift + Del
Now, select passwords from the list, and click on Delete.

I'm not sure if I understood your problem correctly.

Just for the record, if anyone has viruses on their computers, they should go here
