Yeah, I initially thought something got corrupted due to him loading the new HDD, but he told me that he didn't boot from that at all. That made e think it could be a PSU problem, so I asked him to unplug the power supply from the DVD Drive. This, he'd already done, and tbh, I wouldn't have thought of unplugging and replugging the PS!

Anyway, if such a problem reoccurs, or happens with anyone else, we now know what to do :D

Not a problem really but, my AC09 disc is getting old and scratches are increasing day by day. I've created the image of the disc. I also burnt it to blank DVD but, now when I insert that DVD it says me to insert the original one instead of a backup. So, does this mean I won't be able to play the game if and when the original disc is damaged completely maybe?

The readme file of the game says something about a backup copy though. So, there should be some way...

You can only create a image and cannot burn it because it uses securerom just use daemon and some tool to hide daemon and it should be fine

There is no possible solution for 16 bit applications to run on x64 architecture. Maybe something like Dos-box might help, but I'm not too sure.

Dos-box will allow the file to run, but I doubt about the team files.
