Once again Pollard is in when the top order has collapsed and 68 of 34 is required and he will go for a wild swing to try and up the run rate and he will be called a fail.

I agree with your view on that. He did a decent job yesterday despite his batting position, but if West Indies want a match winning performance from him, they better push him up the order.

Gayle has to be more confident using his medium pacers on dodgy tracks. He actually has one of the more interesting bowling attacks going around. Batting is another story.

Still, South Africa's batsmen were probably a bit lucky that the bowlers had their backs after flopping 4/25 in those last four overs. They got rid of Boucher and Gibbs, but why Duminy is still there, I don't know.

JP is still young. Gibbs and bouch are on their way out. Both will likely retire at wc 2011, if they make it that far. Bouch amy stick around for the test side for a bit but odi and t20 he will be done with after wc 2011.

I don't think JP will play all the games. They will give david miller a chance.

Miller should play, he adds a different option. A fearless approach to the game which SA need badly atm.

Not a bad first class outing for him, it is a pity we will not get to see him against Taylor and Roach on the Barbados wicket.

Holding as much as I admire him and respect him, he is the last person that should make any kind of comment relating to West Indies players!! What Holding is not saying regarding Stanford was personal, we all down here knows about it!! And as for our players, he should probably come out and say how much help he has offered to West Indies cricket especially our bowlers!!!

Holding wasn't one of those, maybe he can try and help the young Jamaican fast bowlers, all of them give credit to Walsh in the interviews.

My point exactly, I wonder if anyone remembers a guy named Jermaine Lawson, or even more recently Daren Powell!!! Ambrose has offered, Kenny Benjamine was even employed to move around the Region to work with bowlers in Primary & Secondary Schools, so to was Reon King, so ask Michael Holding, apart from sitting on SkySports and in the UK criticizing West Indies, what the hell have he done to help us!!
