Rover.[DOUBLEPOST=1501744633][/DOUBLEPOST]Anyone watched the Mars TV Series?

I am very interested in the whole history of how our perception of space has developed, from the idea of the starry heavens as the abode of the gods to the theory of lookback light, ie the picture of the heavens we have is only the light of past eons.....the universe as a graveyard. It is very interesting to follow how people came to the idea of the expanding universe and therefor also the contracted universe, the Big Bang. It is also comforting to know that such brilliant minds as Newton, Einstein and many others are being overhauled in some aspects of their theories by new developments and discoveries.......

There used to be TV series called ancient aliens and they project this whole God's thing as extra terrestrial visitors. Not leaning towards 100% truth, but those theories and speculations are so interesting.

After becoming fan of another TV series( The Flash ), I am now fascinated about multi earth theory. :p lol.

A big question I'm confused. So tagging the guys who responded previously.
Did mankind even go to the man? A little detail @RUDOLPH @Perfect Square @zimrahil
I had a long debate with a couple of classfellows out of 5 people it ended 3-2 3 that we did and 2 that we didn't.

To the moon, yes lol. The question is if they did the first time round (the race between the USA & USSR at the time was to see who can put a man on the moon first). There are claims that USA staged the first moon landing (Armstrong)

Yes, they did but they were not transparent with things happened there. Aldrin's take on moon landing kept too many questions open. Not sure whether it is available in youtube, but it was well covered in ancient aliens tv series with Aldrin on moon landing episode.
More over, Armstrongs only sentence till his death was, there were too many things beyond humanity understanding if I remember that right- pretty convinced that moon landing did happen.

To add to the discussion, they only reason humanity hasn't stepped on the moon in over 40+ years because it's too tweaking expensive and unnecessary for us to do so. Remember that we don't need humans to land on the moon to know more about it, especially when satellites and rovers will be more useful with respect to the money spent on them.

SpaceX was always promising but I personally feel them to be in back seat with NASA and ESA in picture.
Theoretically, it takes just 4.5 years to go to alpha centuri star with a warp bubble, but can it be done in reality? Not in this next coming decade at the least.
SpaceX>NASA
