Spinners Utd CCC win by 17 runs

In a great match for the club, United showed the class they have lacked for most of the season by outclassing embi's team. On the green surface at home, Chuguel won the toss and went out to bat. The inn ings started badly with Duncum being run out for a duck, but Chuguel and Esaia scored vital half centuries as they continue to impress. Woosnam and Reade also impressed with good innings on a bowlers pitch. No one of the bowlers were a particular threat, as they all ended with 1 wicket. Whereas Levy took the first 5-for in the clubs history, taking Cooper, Taj, Ireland, Barnes and Campbell's wickets for only 38 runs. Edgerley-Harris tried to bat, getting 64, but the bowling was too powerful. On his return to the Spinners Utd CG, Von Hoesslin only got 29 runs on the board before falling to Reade. A great match for the club, and one which makes the future look good.

Have a go? You won't get anywhere close. Best to just use rubbish players and TIE. I should know, I have had experience in these things...
By the way, none of the players in that match were in my 1st XI. I was sorely tempted to put Grady Ireland in, but I couldn't be bothered.
My 1st XI is looking a tad better now...Maybe we could have a rematch after the shield (i.e. when we both get knocked out in the first round).
