I lost the toss and was elected to bowl first
A good start of 5 an over until Sajeewa Weerakoon get Wood which slows down the run rate, soon after Francis goes so both the openers gone with 3,4,5 and 6 not stayinf in too long either, Muralitharan and mialinga then turn to take down the tail enders as half way through the innings Somerset aree 110-5 but quick wickets make the score an easy target of only 150 as Lasith Malinga and Muttiah Muralitharan both got 3 wickets wach as Sajeewa Weerakoon got 2, A good bowling performance as only 3 batsmen got over 20.
Leaving us to get 151 runs at just over 3 an over, but unfortunatly a slow start is not helped by Sanath Jayasuriya going early for just 17 runs as we reach 36-1 off 10 overs. Some real good consistent batting by Kumar Sangakkara and Chamara Kapugedera made us easily poised at 94-1 off 25 overs needing 2.3 an over. As both men move on to get their Half Centuries in the process we bypass 150 and end up winning the game very comfortably. Kumar not out on 65(129) and Chamara not out on 63(100) with one six between them scored by Chamara. A great 123 unbeaten Second Wicket Partnership wins us the game fair and square, Kumar Sangakkara very deservedly so gets his just deserve as man of the match again.
