PC XI - All out for 200.

Rahuldravidfan looked very nice today. His batting was flawless in his 13 balls 39 comprising of 5 fours and 1 six.

Match 2 of Week 1 to start soon.

The statistics currently are interesting with User2010 at the top in terms of runs and Akash00 in terms of strike rate.

The Match 2 is going to be interesting because this is the match that will most probably decide this week's winner, as the 2nd Match out of the three usually is the most interesting one.

PC XI will be taking on Australia in a T20 Match today.
The Australian pace attack looks strong with the likes of Hilfenhaus and Bracken in their side today.

Lets see what turns out in this match.

The line up will be the same for the entire week as we do not have a captain for this week.
Read the index post on how to become the captain for the week by participating in the competition "PC Stick Cricketer of the Week".

The batting order for the each week of January, 2010 will be selected on the basis on first cum first service. The registration order will be the batting order.

From February, 2010, each week ANY PC Member can send me an image of the scorecard based on the week?s theme, and whoever wins will be declared as the captain for the week. He will then decide the batting lineup for the three matches in the week. The competition will be such that if the week's theme is "HIGHEST TEAM TOTAL", then the PC Members play Stick Cricket by clicking here. They can play can as many innings they want, and whenever one feels that his team score is too high to be beaten by anyone, he can take a screen shot of it and PM it to me.
Remember to take screen shots regularly as it might be possible that you start scoring less than your previous scores, and unfortunately, you dont have its screenshot.
This competition for the captaincy of the week will be known as PC Stick Cricketer of the Week.

PC XI - All out for 275.

PC XI got a good start once again by Akash00 and Binnu with a partnership of 45 runs.

Binnu looked in fine form today and I expected a 40+ score from him, until Hilfenhaus bowled a beautiful Yorker to dismiss him.

User2010 was simply awesome as always. He missed out on a well - deserved half - century in the previous match, but did not give up. His innings of 71 off just 29 was flawless. He was the play maker for PC XI as he came in at the score of 45 and was dismissed when the team had reached the total of 219!:hpraise

Ollie H was disappointing. He could score just 6 off 3. We all had expected some fireworks from him.

Aditya got a good start this time. He scored a nice 36 off 18 with a strike rate of 200 and supported User2010 throughout his innings. His score looks small but it was one of the pillars in today's innings of PC XI.

World Champions rocked today. It was sad to see him missing out in the previous match, but he made it up. Although he missed on his half - century, his innings was simply like a rocket. It looked like he had to catch the last train of Kabul after the completion of his innings.

Mihir Doshi too looked in good form. He innings of 39 certainly did bring some stability to the innings of PC XI.

What can I say about send2yaari? He looks to be going through the worse form of his life. Two successful first ball ducks. He certainly is a better batsman than that.

CG123 played a handy innings this time. He seems to be the innings stabilizer when the lower order starts. His previous innings of 20 Odd runs also had helped the team in the similar fashion it did today.

I guess rahuldravidfan got the send2yaari effect. It was really bad to see him missing out today. After a nice knock of 40 Odd runs in the previous match, we did expect some special things from him. However, I am sure that he will bounce back in the next match.

What could Gazza 11 do after coming in at number 11 and facing the part - timer who is bowling better than a specialist? TBH, I am happy that he at least scored a boundary against David Hussey who seemed to be bowling better than Shane Warne.

The part - timer. Brother of Mr. Cricket. Call him whatever you wish to. It was smart captaincy by Ricky Ponting to have faith in him. David Hussey was simply amazing today. Picking up 6 wickets in just 3.5 overs is amazing, isnt it?

User2010 is way ahead of everyone else in terms of runs. His innings of 47 and 71 have made him the strongest contender for becoming the Batsman of this Week.

The strike rate statistics did show some variations this time. WORLD CHAMPIONS went ahead of Akash00 and seems to be sitting there handsomely.​
