The future of English Cricket.....[DOUBLEPOST=1569599135][/DOUBLEPOST]Burns wicket was a story in it's own right...trying to cut a ball too close to the body, took a top edge , hit his helmet and looped to the bowler!

First match as captain of Queensland Bulls (my Career Mode started in England, so this is my third captaincy). It didn't end well for New South Wales.

Edit: I should have mentioned how I got out in the first innings. Cruising towards a century, I tried to pull a bouncer from Josh Hazlewood. The ball fell harmlessly to the pitch, and I got ready for the next delivery...wait, why is NSW suddenly cheering? On the replay, that ball that fell harmlessly to the pitch actually rolled towards the stumps, and rolled, and rolled, and just as it looked like it was going to stop it touched the off stump and one of the bails dropped to the ground. Bowled, 91.

England struggling! Me bwoling so thats probably why!

Patel was just out to a wonderful bat/pad. The ball looped off the top of the pad and the umpire gave it out. Raval reviewed but there was the thinnest of smudges on hotspot on the edge of the bat and he was on his way.

Tea day one in Wellington: England way behind but a couple of wickets including a blinding take at short mid wicket by Mahmood off a Williamson sweep sees the go to tea a little happier. At least both ends are opened up. Leach the pick of the bowlers at the mo.

Tough day at the office for the English bowlers!

Day 1 of the first test in the 1997 Ashes, might have to call that England's day since Australia won the toss and elected to bat. Steve Waugh batted for 80 overs today to dig Australia out of huge trouble at 3/10 after 8 overs.

I like the way you need to see off the new ball in a test match in unfavourable conditions. You can see here it was tough going for the first 5 overs I left the vast majority of deliveries because of the swing and seam in dangerous areas outside of off stump then the bowling change came and I was able to punish a few loose deliveries but the long boundary ropes I set for 90's tests robbed me of some 4's. I found that in either DBC 17 or AC that I pretty much left anything outside of off stump that was green and just waited for the full or strayed on to my pads, it gives you a lot of realistic test scores but it does try your patience which makes it an authentic test experience too.
