The WORLD XI opening up with HITMAN Sharma, and the SA ODI captain, De Kock!
They got off to a strong start posting 50 plus for the first wicket! Before De Kock fell to a beauty by Ben stokes, that moved a bit off the seam and caught the outside edge.

The Indians then took the charge adding another 50 plus partnership, before Pujara fell in similar fashion to De kock, caught off Butler!
Sokes continued his Form Clean Bowling King Kholi and getting Kane Williamson cheap!! Putting the World XI on the back foot

World Xi were 168-7 before the tail showed the front 6 how its done!!

Shaw and Wagner put on 68 for the 8th wicket, but it didnt end there, with Bumrah holding his own (15 from 75 balls) adding 94 for the 9th wicket.
Wagher still unbeaten on 90(133).
Stokes finished with 5-86, wrapping up a solid days play.

All proceeds from this match will go directly to the morale of cricket lovers affected by this pandemic!

DAY 2 of the Covid Relief test in the books!

The world XI are in the driving seat, but The Ashes combined XI are fighting back!!

Wagner failed to reach his maiden Ton! Falling to Starc in the morning session!

Bumrah followed soon after, bringing the world Xi inning to an end.

The host team began their response infront of the Packed Lords crowd!
But lost De kock early and never really recovered.

World Xi started their second innings with a healthy lead but then Nathan Gary Lyon happend!

The stage is set for Day 3! With the World Xi ahead by 338 runs 2 wickets in hand!!

The Windies Legends are back! They start their League of Legends, Season 2 campaign in ZIMBABWE, taking on the The Prime of Zimbabwe cricket in 2 ODI's, and 3 T20's.

The first ODI was not short on runs to say the least!

Windies legends won the toss and batted first!

They lost sir Gordon Greenidge early! Miss timing a short ball and popping up to square leg.

Lara and Sir George Headley then put on 62 for the second wicket, going shot for shot!

Before Sir George fell using his feet and miss timing a ball that turned.

Viv Richards held the innings together with a Fast paced 76(70)
With support from Rohan kanhai 44(36)

Taking the men from the islands to 331 of their 50 overs.

ZIMBABWE had as good of a start as they could ask for posting 100 without lost after only 17 overs!! Taking the fight to the visitors!

With 54 and 47 respectfully from Allister Campbell and Stuart Carlisle.
Heath streak also added 46 (30) but the hill was too high for the host to climb and pull off the upset.

Sir Gary Sobers finished with 3-53 to seal the victory for the visitors.

Windies lead the 2 match ODI series 1-0, and they will be going for the sweep.
The teams will also play a 3 match T20 series.

Hi played an awesome exhibition game between India vs Pakistan. I batted for both the teams. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat, Sohail and Anwar batted beautifully early in the innings. Once they got out, Ijaz Ahmed along with Big Javed Miandad guided Pakistan to 299 in 50 overs. Javed Miandad scored a very constructive century but was bowled immediately after his century by Javagal Srinath.

India's inning begin well too but top 4 Sachin, Siddhu, Manjrekar and Azharuddin couldn't make a most of it. Kambli along with Ajay Jadeja and Nayan Mongia took India to last over, where 6 needed of 6 balls, it looked all easy for India..but Waqar's wide yorkers and close in fielders made sure Kambli couldn't take a quick single and apparently Kambli fell for that and tried to play lofted shots and miss the opportunities, 2 needed from last ball but India could manage only 1 run. Match was drawn! It was all drama in the end, India went for the run and Keeper threw the ball towards non strikers end (mid on player reached the non strikers end before keeper threw the ball) and hit the stumps but Kambli reached easily and tried for 2nd run, mid on player who already reached the non strikers end picked the ball and hit the stumps again and Nayan Mongia was run out by few inches..

CSK VS RCB. MATCH 2


So today CSK take on RCB in the 2nd game of VIVO IPL 2020.

CSK won the toss and choose to bat first on a dry/ soft pitch which has a lot of spin on it lets see how it goes..



CSK batted really well on a spin track, batting against 3 World Class spinners.

Ambati Rayudu made a superb 45 (30) by standing still in his crease after losing opening partner way too early.



Also Suresh Raina and Dwayne Bravo gave a valuable contribution to the teams score by being patient.

Mitchell Santner was in his best form as he scored a fantastic 44 (23)* by hitting some great shots and helping his team to score a huge target on this Bowling track.


RCB Pacers got a wicket but they consisted many Runs which helped CSK post a huge target but on the other hand RCB spinners bowled really well by getting wickets and bowling tight.

Washington Sundar bowled superb with a spell of 4/34 by taking crucial wickets and bowling perfect line & length.


RCB need 168 runs to win thier first game in VIVO IPL 2020.



CSK defended the total by wrapping up the oppositions (RCB) on just 94.

RCB top order played good cricket untill they lose their wickets to top quality bowling CSK bowlers.

CSK bowlers bowled exactly according to the situation required and dismissed RCB for a very low score of 94.

Sam Curran bowled the best figure of 4/11 by getting Aaron Finch and other Hard hitting batsman wicket at the right time.





So the Summary for the match is that
CSK won by 73 Runs by bowling out RCB on a very low score.

MOM:- Dwyane Bravo gets MOM for his great Bowling performance of 4/16 and a valuable contribution with bat by scoring 11 (11).

Played the World T20 Final of 2010. Mitchell Johnson was bowling right handed, but apart from that everything was fairly normal.

Sadly it wasn't a repeat of the real final as my batting was undone by an upcoming leg spinner. He could be the next Shane Warne. Could do with some work on his batting; eight his probably his most suited position.

Played Aus vs Eng T20 at Kensington Oval thanks to @wasteyouryouth for the lovely kits!!!! It looked so so good in the game, you are genius and the Cricket games need legends like you to be there..So Aus won the toss and decided to bat, it was flying start given by Watson and Warner, Watson made a brilliant 50 and Warner got run out at 48 who couldn't match the running speed of Hussey.. Hussey came in No.3 and my my my he batted just the way he batted in his whole career, singles, doubles and odd boundaries..When top 3 were dismissed the rest of the batsmen couldn't do much and just ended making 185 thanks to some tight bowling from England.

England came into bat but they lost quick wickets only Collingwood looked good where he made a quick fifty with some handsome sixes, he was holding well enough with Wright and Bresnan but once he was out all hope was gone for England and then ended up getting all out in 18th over. Australia won comfortably by 60 runs.

Great match report. 2010 was my first year of properly watching cricket as a youngster so this win is deep in my memory. The next year was the Ireland victory against England in the 2011 World Cup so that’s a bit of a downer. However, it is good to see people reminiscing old games and bringing new life to them and new stories thanks to the kits from @wasteyouryouth. I see smithy is a handy bowler in both games, taking 6-24 across both stories hahahaha.

Retired Hurt caused KKR to lose IPL final
Played an epic IPL'20 final between RCB and KKR, KKR through out the tournament were bits and pieces(defeated table topper DC with authority in semis) and RCB were very commanding thanks to Aaron Finch who is the leading scorer in ILP'20 (615 runs).

Final: Played in M. Chinaswamy stadium. As commentators confirmed they were not sure of what pitch will offer. KKR won the toss and decided to bowl first Virat would have loved to bowl first as well. Devdutt Padikkal and Parthiv Patel opened the innings for RCB and were very cautious in the start as ball was not coming on to the bat very well..... they scored 42 in powerplay and later got out trying to hit sixes, De Villiers had a bad IPL and got out early, Virat and Finch made sure there were any more hiccups, Virat made sure he takes singles and doubles and Finch took calculated risks and hit big boundaries. RCB scored 169 after 20 overs.

KKR had a very bad start to their innings, lost Banton, Gill, Karthik and Morgan got out cheaply.. Rana and Tripathi played without taking any risks and it looked KKR still far away from reaching the target..Later Tripathi got out and Russell got a "GOLDEN DUCK" it was all depending on Nitish Rana to do something extra ordinary to beat RCB (I had the feeling this bugger will do it for KKR!) and guess what along with Nikhil Naik (Played a blinder of an inning and later got out), Rana took KKR to the last over where they needed 12 off 6 balls..

11 needed of 5 balls

Dube to Rana: Rana stretched his arm and got an outside edge for 4 to third man.

"As soon as the shot was played, I got a pop up saying Batsmen has received the injury, and Rana walked out"



Dube to Kuldeep: Single, (I guess Prasidh Krishna got out, not able to recollect, I'm sure Krishna got out i.e no one turned up to bat after Cummins got out)

6 needed of 3 balls

Dube to Cummins: 2 runs

4 needed of 2 balls

Dube to Cummins: Outside edge and Parthiv dived to his right and grabbed the catch.

And match got over their, Nitish did not come to bat and RCB adjudged the winner of IPL'20. (He could have won it for KKR)
