^^^ Lol, I said that ages ago, I don't really mind, I was mainly just wondering why it got changed and I've found out already in the feedback/suggestion.

SOTM - June, 2010

These are the six stories I've got ATM:

The HRV Cup: The Knights' Quest - just_cricket
Australia Journey Chappell-Hadlee Trophy - Aussie Team
India journey to the WC '11 - Aditya
Hong Kong Days - TheGreemSim
Delhi Daredevils journey in DLF IPL 3 - Aditya
England International Season - treva

I just want your thoughts before I make the official thread.

Others:

PPL has only had one update since coming back.
MaD's put his story on hold, so I left that out.
Shantanu's Mumbai story hasn't been updated in a while.

Mine was the oldest story out of the remaining ones, and I thought that was too new to be considered, so I left out the rest.

Are those six stories alright???

No offense to anyone. I feel Aussie_Team's story still has a long way to go to be considered for SOTM. Trev's story was last updated on 26th May. Other three I feel are ok. You can include JC's HRV Cup story as well so that would make it four leaving out the two I mentioned.

Aussie Team's has been going one and a half months, which is more than most stories run for. It's not ages, but he seems to be committed to it.
treva's story is borderline, so we'll see what other members say.

I don't see the any reason to include it. By what you say, does that mean only the duration of the story matters? I don't think so. His story has way too many flaws and instead of being repeatedly told he's still taking text from other sites (leaving last update or two). For SOTM and SOTQ, I think we need to be more strict as otherwise those who put in lots of efforts sometimes lack behind.

Maybe you are thinking by getting nominated it is a big achievement?
It doesn't mean he's going to get in votes...
If other don't want his there I'll remove it.

Well, I just want to see deserving stories in there. In the end, it's not onto me to decide anything. So yeah, go ahead with what you feel is right.

Aussieteam was not putting any efforts to his writing. He was copying and pasting articles from other site. Can we call this stuff "writing"? He was warned so many times by some of us (readers) but he didn't bother to listen and continued. But in the last 2 updates he has started writing on his own so what I will say is let him improve a bit and then nominate his story for SOTM. We should include best stories going around in SOTM. Why to include every other story going around, that takes fun from the SOTM. Members won't vote for the story and the story writer can even loose his interest from the story once he does not win SOTM. I don't think my Delhi Daredevils story should be nominated as well. Storyline lacks in the story and I am trying to improve it so I request to remove it from SOTM june. As far as Aussieteam's story is concern decision is your CG.

Yeah that is pretty much it. Top 3 stories as of now.

Only three stories eh?
Get in either your story or my story in.

Cause it gets boring if you see only 3 stories fighting for SOTM and many unfair stories have been put in previously, to make the competition better.
Get in as many as you can cause SOTM, after SOTQ has come, doesn't have great significance.
So, no problem if you put stories which have started recently. And even, some rules like "The one who won the SOTM in Xth month cannot participate in X+1st month" have been stuck off, but why does only that rule alone carry (on the age of the story)?
