Suggestion on bans

This could do with some clarification; especially the bit about "sexual discrimination". I'm trying to work out whether this means sexism, homophobia or both. Both really should be covered by the rules because they aren't things that should be accepted in a civilised society; so it might be worth clarifying that bit of the rules?

Basically at the moment they are written with some fairly broad terms to try to avoid cases like you've just seen of people saying "but it wasn't in the rules" - so if we specified that sexist or homophobic comments weren't allowed, we might get a comment that doesn't really fall under either and have to waste more time explaining to someone why they can't be a terrible person on the internet.

So basically, we start with some fairly broad rules, and then you just get the interpretation by the mods on where the boundaries are. I've seen some forum rules that add a rule saying as much - we enforce the spirit of the rules not the letter of them.

Those guys are spending their time try to keep the whole place clean to make it friendly for everyone.The guys complaining do realize that the forum has kids and adolescents here and the admins have taken the responsibility to keep it clean n safe for everyone.
