Suggestions for next Bas Cricket game

This might be the best place to ask this I guess.

Any indications of when the next game could potentially be out? Which series or tournament could it be targeting? Had it not been for the current pandemic, the T20 World Cup with a couple of other licensed teams would have been my guess but with that out of the way now, can't really see anything coming up at the moment. Maybe The Hundred if the ECB had some sense and gave the licenses to them free of cost with only a percentage of profit share? Or the new BBL? The previous game based on it was not a serious representation of the sport at all though.

hope the next game will be announced for T20 WC .. it will be fantastic . since BA has not yet Launched new game with any Limited series .. (ASHES series (ASHES CRICKET) & ODI WC (C19) they have launched .. if they plan for T20 WC 2021 , it will massive .. finger crossed .

It will be great if BA add these kinds of Fireworks for an Entry in Limited Overs (Final) matches in a League ..

For my money this is comfortably the best game of the series so far in terms of the quality of the animations, gameplay and AI combined. The sliders also appear to actually work, which is really helpful in moulding the game how I want it.

Small things I would look at improving that have become obvious to me thus far:

- New ball: it doesn’t seem to have any real gameplay effect at all, and there’s no evidence of changing amounts of swing or spin as the ball ages.

- Time of play: previous Big Ant cricket games have had variable over timing, which is really nice and realistic. In this game it seems that the clocks advances 1 minute on the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th balls of an over, so it’s always 30 overs in a session (unless a change of innings) and no variety. I did once get a 29 over session though I’ve no idea why that happened - but it should happen more, realistically no game gets the full 30 overs in the morning or afternoon. Time should advance at fall of wicket, at drinks, if extra deliveries are bowled etc to create a bit more variety. Spinner overs being faster than seamers would also be a bonus.

- I would love to see some tailender batting animations get added to the game so you can get a bit more realism out of them: the sliders make it far easier to ensure they edge and miss more given their lower skills now (which is an absolutely huge improvement on Ashes Cricket in which the tail reliably added 150 every single game), but it would be even better for them to visibly display questionable technique at times.

In My Opinion BA Studios Had Always Sealed The Deal But They Should Improve The Weather System In Their Upcoming Cricket Game Which Would Make It Better...

I've been thinking about that too... for one, the wind should be displayed... sometimes forget during a long game, weird we can't just check it anywhere in the middle of game.

There should be conditions where the wind is gusty and changes directions, especially over a long day. Might make you want to bat first when you didn't want to as the wind is strong giving you easy boundaries at one end and it might die down later in the day. During gusty conditions too with the wind at your back while bowling, you might time your bowls as the gust comes up as well. Faster bowl, harder boundary hitting straight down the ground.

Same with crosswind, to increase swing if you need it you might time it a bit too. And of course headwinds, don't really want to bowl into that if you can time a gust.

With next gen consoles out i hope big ant supports cross platform online games for there next edition criket game.

So confused again as i will be forced to buy ps5.
But i really want to buy xbox next gen.
If big ant confirms crossplatform i surely will go for xbox.

is cross platform a thing?

I mean xbox series x users vs ps5 users
Online cricket cricket 21...

I think its a feature if not there will be forced to buy ps5 and freinds will be buying ps5 but i want to buy xbox ..
I know what you mean, I just don’t know of any game where it possible to play Xbox vs ps online

Interesting, cheers did not know that at all! Thought it was a platform limitation.

In which case, if it’s possible yeah seems would be a good feature
Fortnite and RL weren't originally 'fully' cross platform because Sony wouldn't allow it. I think they only allowed cross-platform support for all games 12 months ago.

Top of my head, Fortnite and Rocket League have cross play ability

Few more are there like
Dauntless
Smite
Paladins
Realm royle
Call of duty warzone
Need for speed heat
No mans sky
Brawhalla
World of warship legends
Power rangers
Dead by daylight
Spell break
