Because it's still a bouncer, just a bouncer with less pace on it. Wouldn't expect the computer to change its shot as it's still a bouncer.

yeh bro
wat ur say ing is that the quicker delivery could be just too bowl it full speed, but a quicker delivery cannot be relly done in cricket 07 because it has the same result. in real life, a slow bouncer, or a quicker one tricks the batsmen in playing the shot too slow or too fast

Cramps due to lower levels of stamina/endurance which will affect his running between the wickets and decrease the effect of certain strokes.

I am sure this was already thought of but if a player has a cramp (like shravi suggested) then they could have a runner, maybe a stop in play whilst the team doctor stretches them out.

Another thing I would want is the ability to move the batsman even when the ball is in the air. In doing this, you can implement the shots we often see in the slog overs. In addition to that, it would be nice if we could also bat out of the crease/further in the crease (coming down the wicket should be totally seperate).

I know you've probably come up with a good control system but here's an idea I had.

To choose the area you want to hit in, use the mouse so you can actually hit anywhere. Backfoot will be the W key and S will be the front foot key while left click is too hit the ball. You have to drag it to the channel you want to hit it in (it's in a V like in BLIC) and hold (so it doesn't stay in the original place and so you can now keep it in the place you want to) down the left click and click it again to hit the ball. Also, since you are using the mouse, you can change your shot at the last moment. Obviously, the shot will most probably not get maximum runs if changed at the last moment, just like in real cricket. Plus, along with holding W/S, you have a choice of three other keys for a defensive shot to just nudge it for a quick single, a normal shot and a lofted shot, like in BLIC.

I think this might work well. Some views on this would be nice.

They implemented something like this in Cricket 2000, you might want to look at that LM. I found it quite fun

Yeah, I remember it was in CWC99 as well. But that didn't have the backfoot/frontfoot stroke choice and I don't think you had a choice of playing a defensive/normal/lofted shot iirc.

Hmm sounds like an interesting idea. I think it might be real good to try this.

It sounds like a very fun way to play, but I don't know whether it will be completely practically to implement and add to the game, would be great.

There should still a choice given, I think, over the control system.

LM's already built the control system. I seriously doubt he'll change it and I don't want him to, as the current one sounds awesome.

(Still alive there LM? :P )

Erm, sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't think we know much about the control system at all...

1. For Contolres it would be a good Idea to combine BLIC 2007 and Cricket '07 contolers.
IN BLIC u can place the ball anywhere but u cant select Frontfoot or Backfoot,u can do tat in Ea but u can only play shots down the ground, cover, square either side and behind square either side.Ea has better input system but not a wide reange of shots.BLIC has poor input system but a wide range of shots.Just try to combine them.

2.Also at the end of an over it would be great if the scorecard come up and commentators say and analyse it.
