I can see why you wouldn't want Younis in the test team but the team looks so much weaker when he is not there. He is/was one of the best #3 batsman in the world for a while. All this controversy got to him and he didn't perform with the bat in the ODIs but if things can get sorted out he needs to be coming in at #3 in the test team.

Its time to move on from Shoaib Malik for Pakistan and Afridi will not have any impact in test matches.

See here's the thing you cannot assume that Afridi will not have any impact. He has great variations and can get a lot of turn depending on the situation. I mean no matter what happens with Pakistan the biggest issue is always the batting and if you don't have batting to put up runs your going to lose the match anyways.

Also, if you think that Malik cannot bowl and you need another bowler the solution could be bring in Razzaq for Malik to provide another pace bowler.

Razzaq as third seamer is good option in sub continent where you can then play 2 spinners. The reason I doubt Afridis impact is that in shorter version he relies on accuracy and change of pace to get wickets. In test matches batsman have enough time to wait for loose balls.

^^ Razzaq is not at all a good bowler. He bowls at a very poor pace and barely gets swing. He depends on line and length and we already have a bowler like that in our squad
