RG has confirmed that sweep shot is IN the game and to execute it (as Andrew said in the demo ) you need to have high confidence and precise timing.

Actually many people over at Codies (members not workers) are saying that they have performed a sweep shot. RG does not lie-he would not have confirmed it if it was not there.

If your confidence grows you are more likely to play more risky shots-I think it adds to the realsim.

When playing against spinners, the sweep/reverse sweep shots are valuable weapons to use. Many batsmen play sweep's early on in their innings against the spin, regardless of confidence.

You can also look at it in a different way,

It makes you work hard to get your confident high so you can play a animated shot such as the sweep shot.

tried the sweep shot many times with full confidence.But doesn't work.
Instead the batsman plays ondrive shot

Ive played the sweep shot about 5 or 6 times....

It has to be against a slow spinner and has to be pitched right, but it is possible!!
