Well, we were such hot favourites pre-tournament I figured we might as well drop the game, the odds were just too good!

aus5892 added 4 Minutes and 43 Seconds later...

I just realised that Flintoff is a better batsman than any of you hacks, so I'm promoting him next game.

PS Great innings Mad Snake, you and Smith were the only ones who will escape the blowtorch.

thanks dean, i enjoyed the
15.1 sb_dshpnd to Snake, FOUR, Who needs Bradman when weve got Mad Snake
and
18.4 RoboRocks to Snake, SIX, What a wonderful player Mad Snake is! THAT IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT - huge SIX there!

You're all terrible. I'm on strike until you become competent or the next game, whatever comes first

Also are we playing without a keeper from now on? I suggest we make Dean do it, his keeping can't cost as many runs as his bowling surely

I was our second most economical bowler, behind that fat one Ashes wonder.

It's official, we're the most hated team in the competition. That's one of our preseason goals down, now all we need to do is be hated on the field for winning everything.

Next game's lineup will be a bit different. Seeing as I've just realised that Flintoff is our second best batsman, he'll be moving up the order. After him, it goes in order of activity. Since Hitterman has been banned, it would be nice to have a new keeper. I would suggest anyone not currently in the lineup volunteer, it's the only spot that's guaranteed every game.

1. Graeme Smith
2. brad352
3. Andrew Flintoff
4. tassietiger (c)
5. Mad Snake
6. Sohummisra
7. Hitterman (wk)
8. nightprowler10
9. KBChandraw
10. aus5892
11. Gilly Fan

I can't bat between those blokes, I can't understand either of them calling

If you hit boundaries the running between wickets actually isn't necessary. We should've covered that in our training, in hindsight.

The Sydney McStallions, leaders in hindsight.

at least were winning something:happy
That's not a very McStalliony way to look at it. At least we're winning something implies we're not winning anything. We are winning the competition. Just not yet.

Brad, that's your punishment for your score last game.

Tassie, post the new team in our match thread.

Talking about pitches, I reckon that due to the depth of our batting lineup, a poor pitch makes the most sense, since our tail doesn't begin until we're 8 down. Does that make any sense? It plays to our strengths, since we're capable of getting a good total on a bad pitch because our batting lineup is good? I know that their tail begins at 7 down, and their international players are both tier 3 (bat and keeper), so ours are better. Yep, I think poor pitch. Agree/Disagree?
