Talking about pitches, I reckon that due to the depth of our batting lineup, a poor pitch makes the most sense, since our tail doesn't begin until we're 8 down. Does that make any sense? It plays to our strengths, since we're capable of getting a good total on a bad pitch because our batting lineup is good? I know that their tail begins at 7 down, and their international players are both tier 3 (bat and keeper), so ours are better. Yep, I think poor pitch. Agree/Disagree?
I thought the opposite when picking the pitch. I thought considering we had Flintoff who is as capable as a pure bowler, we basically have 4 pure bowlers, and an all-rounder, meaning we could probably get a team out even if we're on a poor pitch.

Disagree

Well we'll try both then, excellent this game and poor next game if it fails.

Disagree. We'll give excellent a fair go, say one season, and if it fails we'll have poor next season and I'll transfer

That's what I love about the Sydney McStallions. We're that far ahead of the competition that we don't need to think of the team. Think of the averages.

We bowled like crap, which is why I was right to say we needed a poor pitch. Our bowling has been terrible both games, a poor pitch would bring our strength and weakness closer to each other, rather than making our bowling even worse. I think it's rigged personally, but either way we should try something different. Maybe drop Smith for Bracken?

I'll agree with you now. I'm a gun with the bat, I could bat on a minefield if it weren't for the obvious OH&S issues in play. We may as well exploit that and go a poor pitch. I'd say if Smith is in, poor pitch, if Bracken is in, excellent pitch.

With those tactics, Sydney are likely to go even lower as far as their net run rate is concerned :p
Any non-McStallion who enters our thread I immediately assume wishes that they were a McStallion. You are no exception.

We're acting more like english, be the proud sydney McStallions..:D..

Offence to no one or no country..:).. But, that's the fact which is running over the thread..

Then I say bring in the long haired one. We won't need a new opener either, I'll bat from both ends to minimise the chance of a runout since obviously I won't be getting out any other way

I reckon stick with the same sort of team but with a poor pitch this time around. Any objections besides brad's?
