Sorry about being away team, but really, if I had my time over again, I would be away again. You shouldn't have relied on me, but you shouldn't have to. These rules are beyond moronic and I can't understand how an internet forum hero would decide that they can force people to be on a forum at a certain time in a piddly little game like this.

I enforce rules because they're rules. And, no i don't particularly enjoy modding, but i will do when i see fit. Dean, don't pretend like you're getting hard done to, because its the same rule for everyone.

You will notice that almost everyone (including you, at certain times) has claimed the rule is stupid, but must be followed because it is a rule. It is at times like this that you should step in and change the rule IMMEDIATELY.

Can you not give simbazz some respect for not rolling of and letting you guys off? He's stuck by what he said and unlike some cricket boards he's not gonna let you walk all over him.

Also isnt abusing your powers against the rules?

Actually he is more like the ICC in that he cannot use a little bit of common sense when making decisions.

1. Owners, team captains, and vice-captains are allowed to post teams. That's a fair rule. If the three most important and presumably, active members of a team can't post a team in the space of two or three days, it's hard to see the blame falling on anyone outside of the team.

2. As to the complaints about Treva not simming the matches exactly at 11:00 BST, they are baseless. The rule is for teams to be posted by 11:00 BST on match day, there's nothing about matches having to be simmed at that time. Most, if not all, of the simmers are British and that is a convenient time for them to get on and sim the matches.

This is a trivial sim league, but what's the point of having even a simple structure to the game, if teams can simply ignore it? There have to be at least a few boundaries and consequences, even if game is to be taken lightly. And if we're going to talk about how meaningless the game is, think about how asinine it is to wasting time arguing over this.

Guys, I guess we just have to move on from this issue. Let's put this behind us. Since we have almost no chance of staying in the upper league, maybe we should spend the rest of the season experimenting a bit with our line-ups?

If anyone with access to Cricsim (last I heard it doesn't work on Vista) could do simulations for experimentation, that would be a great start!
