T20 Should have something forbowlers too.

Do you agree with the changes suggested below?

You really made those up?

By the way i have said increase the backfoot no-ball crease. I didnt say remove it completely. Increasing it would allow bowlers to bowl at slightly greater angle.

And in the noball thing i meant bouncer limit should be removed jut like old days in test cricket.
Take a look at your first post;
1) Remove the No-Ball restriction from T20.

This works in both was. Only a exceptional bowler can bowl back to back accurate bouncers, and a good batsmen would still score runs of bouncers and mediocore struggle.

Aint you all got sick of watching bowlers being whacked all around the park?? The only matches i loved in IPL were the low scoring matches. Mumbai Indian's last 3 matches went on till the last ball and they lost all three like 2 runs or 1 run. Those matches were dominated by bowlers due to helpfull conditions. Also the performance of Shaun pollock to dismiss Knightriders for 60 odd runs was a classic. Beautifull exhibition of swing bowling.

Oh yeah because bowling from one foot away would be fantastic to watch...

You have just ruined your how ever many points in just one post!!!

I'VE GOT TWO WORDS FOR YAAAAAAAAA

EPIC FAIL!

I do agree that there should be something in it for bowlers, but these ideas are all dumb beyond belief.

I think the bouncer limits should be removed from all forms of cricket.

na 20/20 is made for run scoring. Big sixes and lots of fours so the crowd get entertained. No changes needed but maybe like in the ODIs give the fielding captain the decision when to take the bowling power play.

If there had been sensible ideas, for the record, I would have actually bothered to have made a decent response ;) Instead my ideas, I feel, along with a couple of other members, are much better

Oh dear god. Please, no more rules changes. Confusing enough as it is.

Bowlers get a lot of benefits from Twenty/20. Their death bowling and bowling in powerplays improves greatly. Getting smashed around a bit isn't great, but as a bowler you're expected to go at 7's and 8's

"it needs something for the bowlers?" >> i would vote yes to that.

"it needs something for the bowler, use my ideas" >> then hell NO! :mad

i say make the wicket little smaller to like 18 bats or something. so batsman will have little more trouble, less time to hit the ball. :D but then again T20 is all about hitting so..

Well a bowler can easily get wickets in the slog overs and that's what T20's like pure slog overs...Bowl Yorkers and some at good length it gives you 5 wickets easily per game....

I don't buy into the concept that T20 is made for batsmen. Apart from the free-hit thing, you've got batsmen basically slogging every ball. They are in attacking mood from the word go. That gives you 20 overs where there is a possibility for a wicket every ball. I mean, it's fair to argue that Test matches are bad for bowlers, as batsmen can just block and bat forever to their heart's content. Atleast here batsmen are forced to play shots, leading to chances to take wickets. In Tests they are under no such obligation.

Anyhoo, I like the Elephant for stumps one. Great idea. Or you could just use Daniel Smith for every ball. Same thing :p

2) Remove the backfoot noball or increase the crease for backfoot noball.

This would introduce new angles in game. Balls would come at a sharper angles and we would see a more exciting contest(Ntini would go crazy if this happens)

5)Remove Wide ball restrictions.

I cant recall anymore, so you help me if you have any new suggestion.

Really, so since there's no back foot no ball, a bowler could bowl from an adjacent square and get away with it and since there's no wide ball limit, they would be able to bowl it wherever they like.

Basically, you'd get a situation like this:

With the bolwer and fielders on the other side of the park. How's the batsman supposed to score, again?

Max, have you ever watched a game of cricket?

Do you actually understand what's going on if you have?

Sorry mate, but I just cant understand your thinking if you have.

well i just wanna some rules in favour of bowlers to. i now realise some are really silly. but removing the noball limit is a valid point, coz it was fair in 80's when batsmen dont have helmets. But now they have all the protection. Besides a good batsmen would still hit boundry in a bouncer
