I too feel that no matter how great of a player he is, he is not destined to win anything even though he was part of 2011 and 2013 champions trophy squad. His bad juju just spills over the team and unfortunately its not his talent.

The way I see it is they won't risk the 2019 formula wherein we took as many as 4 keepers. India has shown their wanting to have players who can bowl a bit too. Furthermore, KLR isn't a brute hitter from the word 'go'. He was dropped from the T20 setup for this very reason.

If we are taking Kohli, it means that run grafters like KLR and radical anchors like Iyer need to stay out. His IPL form might say otherwise, but,in reality, it has always shown otherwise. Someone had earlier posted about the inclusion of performers in the squad(largely devoid of big names). I'd like to see them try that- as it is is, we aren't winning- why not try it?

Would have to cut two names from here, possibly three if Sundar is to be filling in for the question mark. Bishnoi is at the biggest risk along with one of the four middle order batters.

This is without considering the probable inclusion of Kohli. Anyone getting cut for Kohli will feel harshly done by and I assume that someone may be Gill or Jaiswal, possibly even both Varma and Rinku.

I would bet everything i have that if Saim wasn’t in Babar’s same PSL team, he would never open ahead of Rizwan
