why does every teams tailenders get out so cheaply? its almost as though none of them know which end of the bat to hold. there are some ok tail enders e.g. Harbajan, Harmison, Murali who have a bad batting technique in the game, but are actually good tailenders in reality. does anyone know why codemasters did this? its just a way of getting easy wickets i think.

it makes it fun to bowl at tailenders and mcgrath can't bat like ponting unlike in EA

yer but i'd rather have more of a challenge, like bowling at more people with the qualities as say Brett Lee.

But its just as easy with Brett Lee aswell:) Bowl a leg spinner on leg stump and it will tunr and bowl them just about every time! Its ridicoulous!

download the player editor and make the tailenders into allrounders and up their batting skill upto about 35 and see the difference..they might not hit the ball to the boundary but they can frustrate you a bit :) hope that helped

problem there is i have the ps2 version.

aw man that really sucks. i would never buy cricket games for a platform..lol cause there always plenty bugs in them. sorry to say but you're stuck then mate... enjoy getting the clueless tailenders out for nothing ;)

what's it like on PC, obviously better because problems like this can be easily solved, but whats the gameplay like, is it similar, different or what? are the graphics better or worse? let me know guys so then i can consider getting the PC one.

i haven't played the console version but i can tell you that i'm pretty sure that gamepley is probably the same and graphics depends on what type of graphics card you use. if you have a really powerful graphics card then kudos to you...i on the other hand have one of the oldest intel graphics cards around but the game works really smooth on the lower end of the settings. since there aren't too many patches out for BLIC 2005, there's not much you can fix..the patches that are out, player editor, lineup editor, field editor are all very helpful and definitely enhance the game. i love the game and i still play about an hour or 2 every 2-3 days when i get the time.

I make the game more realistic by choosing my opponents team and putting recognised batsmen at 7-8-9-10 and 11. All rounders are better like ,cos they can bowl a bit as well.

Hey presto...no batting collapse...it makes me think more about my bowling rotation so that I don't end up with doozers bowling the last 5 overs.
