True, also we don't want to hype it until we are sure we'll definitely make that deadline...don't want to risk huge disappointment for the fans.

I think good stuff doesn't need hyping anyway. If it is good, the word will spread.

One minor bummer is this demo won't have gamepad support - it will just be keyboard/mouse, where the full release absolutely will. I could implement gamepad support for the alpha but would set it back by a fair bit, which wasn't in scope.

Although LM and JK haven't mentioned the dreaded word "delay", I would still give them a couple of weeks grace to squash the inevitable night-before-release-game-breaking-bug...

You won't notice in the alpha demo, but the full game will have different heights. The graphics are improved a lot, as you'll see from the alpha.
