Team Pasty Muncher takes on the world[rFactor & GTR2]

The more I see of this, the more you tempt me to get this when I get my new laptop :D

Yeh Stevie's story has tempted me into getting it.

Another great race, although it's unfortunate to see you down in 7th after a few dodgy run ins. Championship looks like it will be tight all the way through until the end. Lovely stuff stevie :)

Changes
I will be returning to the old weight system of 1st - 45kg, 2nd - 36kg, 3rd - 27kg, 4th - 18kg, 5th - 9kg. The race two grid will now be set by the finishing positions of race one. Top twelve will still get reversed for race three.

Lap of Rockingham! Not my finest but it'll do for this. :p

Not quite hitting the apex of all those corners mate :p

TBH, I'd never heard of Rockingham  until I saw it raced on in the Renault Clio Cup, last week. Nice pile up on the first bend made it really good to watch. Hope the same happens this time, as well, to make it exciting :p

Good luck :)

Been to Rockingham before for a Formula 3000 race I think it was, but they were just using the oval track. Will be a tight race I reckon, with quite a bit of cornering to do...

I said it wasn't my finest. :p Nah, the track only became available for download a couple of days ago so I've not driven it that much, yet. ;)

I went to Rockingham last week, it was fantastic to bad i got soaked at the end though

Ouch! I was watching it on the tele. We originally planned to go but I'm skint at the moment so couldn't. Went to Brands Hatch though. :D

Petrol Leon's to the fore in Rockingham practice

Stephen Bailey headed a SEAT Leon 1-2 during practice at Rockingham. He narrowly beat Adam Jones to the fastest time during the half hour session. Team Halfords were 3-4, with Gordon Shedden heading team-mate Tom Chilton. In 5th was the first of the apparently struggling Vectra's of Tom Onslow-Cole. His team-mates were way down the order in 14th and 17th and will be hoping for an upturn in performance come qualifying. 6th was the first of the BMW's, in the shap of Colin Turkington. 7th went to Dan Eaves in the second of the Team Pasty Muncher SEAT Leon's. Mat Jackson took 8th spot, whilst he was followed by both of the works SEAT Leon TDI's. Plato 9th and Turner 10th.

Plato edges pole and makes history

Jason Plato secured the first diesel power pole position in the British Touring Car Championship, after a hard fought scrap with Stephen Bailey. The pair fought for the majority of the session and Bailey almost snatched it away in the dying seconds of the session, missing out by just .017 of a second. Tom Onslow-Cole was again the best of the VX Racing Vauxhall's in third, well ahead of his team-mates who were down in 7th (Neal) and 8th (Giovanardi). 4th was Dan Eaves, continuing his solid start to the season. 5th was Adam Jones, impressing in his SEAT Leon once again. 6th went to the first of the Team Halfords Honda Civic's of Tom Chilton. He was well ahead of his team-mate, Gordon Shedden, who ended a woeful 16th. 9th went to Colin Turkington, best of the BMW's. 10th was Darren Turner in the second SEAT Leon TDI.

Will Plato be able to find the same sort of speed in the race, or will the extra weight of the TDI engine be too much to cope with consistantly on the tight, twisty infield section? Will the Vauxhall's find some more speed or will they continue to struggle? All will be revealed later!

2nd and 4th in qualifying, very impressive performance there. I think there is a good chance of a win here for Team Pasty Muncher, but lets just hope that touring car luck doesn't come you (both team mates hit eachother on the first corner:p).

Good work in practice and qualifying, although unlucky to miss out. I think you'll do well in the races, as your looking good so far.

Also, maybe a change in the title ;)
