Team Pasty Muncher takes on the world[rFactor & GTR2]

Were all of the Lacetti crashes the root of Buggy or were some also from Lee? If they were all Buggy, then my opinion on his driving levels still stand!

Get race 2 on, I wanna see me all buggered off into the distance! :p

Great win for you there mate, although a lot of crashes especially by the guy in the green car. Also liked the way the barriers are made of rubber ;)

Nice work mate, like the idea of night racing

Yes, lots of crashes! The thing with the barriers is a purely online racing thing unfortunately. :(

Most of it was Lee actually! The only time Buggy ended up in the gravel was when Orth smashed him off the track.

I've voted for Snetterton, being close enough to it to have it's adverts on the radio :D

Hey, the Caparo T1 is a street car, how about pimping that up and doing the BTCC with it? ;)

I doubt that thing would even make it to the first corner before blowing up or something like that! :D

SROL WTCC Brands Hatch Race 2. ;)

Thats more like it, my rocket start and running away into the blue..errr... grey yonder!

How come the second race was so more laggy?

Probably appears that way because:

1) I turned all the gfx options up to max in the replays.

2) For some reason I was suffering with a number of stutters during the race. This would seem to be a online related problem because it happened two weeks ago in the PHTCC races. :(

Okay, last night was Round 2 of PHTCC at Zandvoort. Seeing as Stevie 'owns' my car and he didn't race I thought I'd try my hand at a vid. First attempt so bare with me ;) (there are a few errors)

This covers Race 1, I started 4th and ended 8th.

As Justin says, I didn't race, didn't feel great yesterday so was resting!

I however managed to drag myself through Saturday nights SROL WTCC races, where to be honest, me and my car were the class of the field. Around Monza, I shouldn't have stood a chance against the more powerful BMW's but I took a comfortable pole and was never under pressure as I eased into a lead. Once it was clear I was far enough ahead I eased off to take a nice easy victory!

Race 2 was a but different. Into the first corner I got a massive whack up the rear end, sending me straight on at the chicane, and whilst trying to avoid a crash in front of me, the game decided I deserved a stop/go penalty for getting hit and then avoiding another crash. I took my penalty at the end of the lap, which put me down in 12th. I was really pretty angry after getting a penalty through no fault of my own, but I fought on, and managed to get back up to 6th in what was only a 9 lap race! I set the fastest lap of the race in the process.

Feel as though I'm driving better than I ever have at the moment, just a shame that my run of top finishes has come so late in the season, meaning no shot at the championship, but hey, I didn't even know I was going to do this well at the start of the season!

Next weekend is the season finale in Monaco, with the title all wrapped up, meaning it will be even more fun. ;)

I'd just like to add that, I think I may have been able to worry Steve in the races due to my superior abilities of setting up a heavy car (:p). But that didn't happen as I lost my connection in qualy and had to start race 1 at the back of a 15 car field.

So I made my attempts at it and was upto 7th in a lap, when..... my wireless modem disconnected itself.

So race 2 would be another of the bat-out-of-hell attempts, except at the 1st chicane there was a pile-up and I got helped into it when I tried to avoid it. But I wasn't last and managed to get ahead of a few people only to lose it on the exit of the following chicane! So down in 2nd or 3rd last, under braking at Parabolica I was shafted and planted in the tyres, with a half damaged car I soldiered on to finish 8th.

Tonight's action!!

Having practiced a few times in the last few days with various people, I can confirm that there isn't one safe overtaking option round here, not even in a touring car! Oh well, last round, I think there may be fireworks. ;)

Just one lap, my steering wheel is probably going to be dead after tonight.

Well, the SROL season ended with a clean sweep for TPM, with me taking pole and then winning both races. I'll go into more detail another time as it's late now. ;)
