Williams announces senior management team

In an unusual twist to proceedings, the captain of the Lunar Sharks, Rhys Williams, has decided to announce a collective senior management team who will be working together to ensure a successful season for the likely-to-be dominant Sharks.

It is thought that this new strategy (instead of appointing a solo vice captain) should encourage collective agreement and result in a further binding of the team. The senior management team will have access to important information and will have to share responsibility for the day-to-day running of the team in the absence of their captain.

Lunar Sharks announce tough first line up

The Lunar Sharks open their Preseason Tournament account tomorrow with a match away at the Spin Wizards. Coming to a decision on the first XI has been very tough, but everyone will play at some point during the tournament. Following some successful preseason testing, the biggest surprise is the promotion of keeper, Aidan Callegari, to the opener's slot.

The competition for batting places is very tough with only 5 places maximum for 7 available batsmen. The competition is equally as tough for the quick bowling...

AfridiRulez and naresh091 will be used in subsequent games in the top and middle order. Cricketman will definitely play in our second game of the tournament, possibly in place of the allrounder.
