Sachin, easily. Better batsman by far.

Inzy is great, but not as great as Sachin.

Ok Sachin is not the Tiger Woods of Cricket because in Test matches the best batsmen is Brian Lara, even if you look at stats and all that Brian Lara is better than Sachin at Test Cricket maybe not ODIs but Test goes to Brian for sure

Edit: Plus there is Don Bradman who is the greatest player in existance might I add

Sachin for me, but the gap between the two isn't as grand as the Sachin fans will have you believe. Statistics will never favor Inzamam in such a comparison, but that's not what cricket is all about. I feel Inzamam at his best was better than Sachin in certain tasks as batting with the tail and seemingly batting with ease under pressure. Let's not forget that at his peak he could pick apart fast bowlers better than anyone. Of course his fitness held him back in a much bigger way than Sachin's bad elbow held him back in the recent past, though that was Inzi's own fault. I daresay that Inzi would have a real chance at being a better batsman than Sachin if not for his carelessness in the fitness department. I've heard experts say that he could've easily scored in excess of 10,000 runs if not for his running.

I actually said batsman, but cricketer works as well.

Inzamam didn't moan and wail and try to convince the umpire he didn't edge a ball when he did.

You mean Tendulkar physically tries to influence the umpire and says that he didnt edge it, etc? You are just going by his reactions.

Tendulkar is obviously the better batsman than Inzamam. More consistent, more of timing and placement than brute force. Running is also part of batting, and Inzamam is one of the worst in that department (dont say its becoz of his physique, which is entirely under his control to change the way it needs to be).

Why did you create a new thread for this and bring out just my post?

Why was my post deleted? It wasn't a double post, manee.

The forum screwed up the merging, so there were two, it is undeleted now. Remember, any problems with moderating decisions and PM me.

Hey Vaibhy great reply mate, I usually don't post a lot in "Comparison" threads. But this one was just unbelievable. Next we might be having comparing Rahul Dravid with Tatenda Taibu. What is the fun guyz? Atleast make a reasonable comparison. Sachin is just what Vabhy's Avatar says. I can also post more and more stats but I found no fun comparing Sachin and Inzi. Inzi is an arrogant person and Sachin is coolest customer, a great sportsman I have seen so far.

No offence to Inzi, but Tendulkar is a legend. Inzamam was a very very good cricketer, but Tendulkar created an aura, a hysteria in the cricketing world has been matched by few. The style with which he plays, the number of fans he's created, the stats that go along with him every time he goes out to play puts him way ahead of Inzamam in my opinion.

Arrogant! Arrogant! Are you kidding me Inzi is not Arrogant that is an insult to him tell me something, if you got told that you have cheated in a game for tampering a ball and that you lied to the game, would you come back out their with you team knowing that you just got insulted so bad I know I wouldn't. I know that you wouldn't either that shows 2 things sportsmanship, and being calm when you should be
