This is still going on.
:p

Stop arguing who is best. Inzy is retired and Tendu will soon retire with gazillion records and envied cricket fans from outside of India who will bring 1 incident out of long list of games to prove his ineffectiveness.

I just like to say ask your countrys bolwers what they think of Tendu if you can approach anyone.

Funny you should mention my country's bowlers.

Umar Gul says get Tendy under pressure, and you can get him out.

Well, he said it in Urdu, but theres no difference.

One incident mate? Theres so many...

Anyway, I was responding to the ODI question. This thread is NOT for discussing their ODI cricket credentials. One came in as an opener, the other came in at #4 and #5 for the most part of his career.

Back to test cricket, all I'm going to say is ahahahaha Tendy fans can still not argue about Inzamam's 93.00 average between 2001 and 2005 in Pakistan wins and the fact Tendulkar has not received a man of the match award since 1998 in India wins.

zMario keep laughing. Tell Mr Gul that get any batsman under pressure he will fall.

:rtfl maybe Gul has brain that big that he does not get it.

Well the thing is that Tendy is not a match winner since 1998 but Inzi's contribution from 2001 to 2005 was memorable and Tendy has done nothing special for a very very long time in test cricket

Actually, Umar Gul has a bowling average of 5 vs Sachin Tendulkar in test match cricket

When Tendulkar plays like normal player. He would have belted daylight out of him had he bowled to him before 2000.

What does that mean?
:p

That means get anyone under pressure and he will get out.

And I think this is how bowlers try to get wickets. And from what I remember of Gul he get too many cheap wickets with catches at third man on long hops outside off stump.

Yes exactly before 2000, Tendy can only play oldies like Donald, Caddick and others:p

What the hell are you guys on. Stop pumping in the stuff you have been drinking or smoking.

In Tests or ODIs?

In test cricket he RAN through India at Lahore. Laxman, Tendulkar, Dravid, all fell to Gul either caught behind, bowled, or LBW.

Can I repeat my sentiment - how is that calculated?
Simple.

Sachin Tendulkar has scored only 2 runs off of Umar Gul.

Umar Gul has gotten him out once. :p

This was in the 2004 Lahore Test by the way.
