Download---UnlockRoot/UnlockPhone/UnlockRom---Android Root
Just read the manual once. And yeah you shouldn't be losing any data unless something goes terribly wrong, and you have to go back to normal.
Thanks a ton mate.I've used the free version after minutes it said root done reboot now.I've got a new app on my device called Super SU.Checked it using the Root Checker app and it says "congratulations you've root access".Followed all the steps and this works great.
Just want to ask on thing:
How can I transfer games from my phone memory and internal storage to my external card? or simply install any new app on my external sd card.:)

You can use apps like App 2 SD to move app's that can be moved to external SD. Not all apps allow this

Anyone here had any auto-rotation issues on Nexus 4?

Mine doesn't work for most of the things and when it does it isn't as responsive as I would expect.

On my Galaxy S2, I can calibrate accelerometer and gyroscope, but can't find any such options for Nexus 4.

Anybody has a clue what am I missing here? Or is my phone one of those defected pieces?

PS: I've switched on auto-rotation in settings -> Display.

Anyone has any idea how I can change the default font?[after root]
Using Xperia E

Alright, guys, my Nexus 4 got stolen, and I'm on the lookout for another phone. I've zeroed in on Samsung Galaxy 4, HTC One, and Nexus 4.
I loved Nexus 4, apart from it's camera. Got quite used to the interface, and being an iPhone user prior to this, the simplicity won me over.

Suggestions on which phone to buy?

If battery life is something which is more important for you, Droid Razr HD or Droid Razr Maxx rank pretty high in the battery comparison tests for smartphones.

How about the S4 or the HTC One, not the usual edition but the GE!

Been reading about HTC one's GE version. Looks like the pure vanilla Android experience does not help HTC's phones as much because the features HTC adds to its phones are seemingly good than its competitors. I am sure the Galaxy S4 GE version will be good because Samsung stuffs its Galaxy's with horrible software which bring performance down big time.
