Hello Everyone. Welcome to Eden Gardens, Kolkatta for this boring match between the two uncoolest teams of CCPC, Vipers and Lions. There was an exclusive performance by WC for his home crowd. They played his abusive song and started to shake his belly which I later came to knwo is called WCian Belly Dance. The crowd was well prepared and threw almost everything from bottles, shoes, and what not. WC was overjoyed with the crowds response and wasn't going off unless he was dragged out. Lets get onto the game now. The pitch is dry and may assist the spinners later on.
The captains moved towards the center for the toss. Lions won the toss and elected to bat first.
The Lions openers came out to the center. As expected they started off slowly. Just 56 runs in the first 15 overs. Vipers couldn't get any breakthrough and there was rarely any change in the batting style of the two openers. They managed just 93 runs in 25 overs. The next 10 overs were quite exciting. the batsmen scored 65 runs and the bowlers picked up 3 wickets. Finally some action in the game. Giggity was dismissed for a patient 64 but the highlight wicket was 20/20 Pro. Even the Lions supportes and the dressing room was happy to see him get out as he scored only 44 runs off 87 runs with a strike rate just above 50. The next 5 over produced just 21 runs as the Vipers were trying to recontruct the innings. The batsmen had a go at every ball as they had wickets in hand and successfully scored 44 runs in the next 5 overs but lost 2 wickets which got their lower order at the crease. Lions scored 249 runs at the end of 50 overs.
Vipers too sarted off cautiously. The openers made an opening stand of 50 runs but lost Ashwin at 56. At the end of 15 overs, Vipers were 68/1. Gary and Sashidharan played brilliantly for the 2nd wicket. The took the game away single handedly from the Lions. They put on 164 for 2nd wicket.Vipers are well placed at 201/1 at the end of 40 overs. Both the batsmen were nearing their centuries and were trying to finish things off in a hurry but it didn't turn out as they wanted and they lost their wickets. At the end of 46 overs, Vipers were 228/3. The next over was pretty productive for the Vipers and earned them 10 runs. Now they require 12 runs off 3 overs. The Lions pulled things back and gave away just 4 runs in the next over. 8 runs required off 2 overs. The Vipers punished the bad balls and reached the target easily in 48.5 overs.
Thats the end of the match. Vipers winning it by 7 wickets. Thats all from Eden Gardens. If you guys are interesting in watching WC's belly dance then you can surely wait or else you can proceed towards your homes as we will meet later for the next match. Till then I'm your host Aamir bidding a very Good Bye and Good Night...

i know i haven't been here for a long time and i want to apologise for not notifying for the time that i left. i had to leave due to school and work, so i basically wasn;t able to find anytime to visit PC for a while.
But now i am back and i want to play in Venomous Vipers as soon as possible. Hopefully i will be forgiven and will be given an chance to play.
johny: Welcome back! Hope you had done your academic work well. School is more important then *ahem boring CCPC matches (except Wolvies v Team of course xD)
Well played Vipers, after a long rest the Lions still did not have enough bite to stop us!! Batting led us well and I can only hope we get wickets that will produce wickets, nonetheless a very good win for us!!!
