That was some good bowling mate, but a disappointing lost, what time during the match did guys decided we should play for a draw?? There are no draws, I mean come on, poor batting, if the lineup is not solid, then make some changes, swap people around, but come on lets win!!!

Hello everone I'm your host Aamir bringing you live action from Sydney Cricket Ground. Well I dont think we can call it as action because it features the most boring and uncoolest teams. No prizes for guessing, its definitely Vipers and Lions. This is a typical Aussie track. Some grass on the pitch which will assist the seamers to swing the ball off the picth and look overhead, the condition is overcast and it'll help the seamers to swing the ball in the air. With the provided conditions, I will definitely bowl first and try and bowl out the opposition and draw an upper hand in the game.

Lions captain won the toss and to everyone's surprise, he elected to bat first. I think he's still sleepy.

KX opened the innings with Viral. The ball was swinging both ways and it was difficult for the batsmen to time the ball. The Vipers kept bowling in proper channels and it earned a wicket for them. Viral got into the drive too early and handed an easy catch back to Shalin. Lions lose 1st wicket at the score of 31. Giggity played some glorious shots and started to get into some rhythm. But sanjogmaiti came in and dismissed him at the score of 18. Lions were 61/2. 20/20 Pro was the next batsman to come in. He was looking in some aggressive mood and smashed the bowlers around and got hold of a delivery and sailed it over the fence. He was going well until a bad call ended up both the batsmen at the centre of nowhere. The fielder chose 20/20 Pro's end and he was run out. The fielder felt no danger from KX as he was just holding his end. He wasn't interested in making runs or scoring boundaries. He just wanted to stay out in such a beautiful weather. Amiya came in next and it was this time that every single person in the crowd looked like they are supporting the Lions. Not a single person in the crowd was awake thanks to the most boring batting ever by KX and Amiya. It took ages for this partnership to score 57 runs. KX reached his fifty and most probably one of the slowest fifty of all times. The crowd was finally relieved when Amiya was dismissed. He slipped while returning for the 3rd run but accurate throw from the deep caught him short of the crease. Lions were struggling at 158/5. Things weren't looking too good for the Lions as King Cricket was dismissed for 4. Lions in deep trouble at 174/6. Cricketman and Mad Snake came to the aid and rescued Lions. They played some brilliant shots and made sure they hang out there and made runs. Cricketman got to his fifty but was soon dismissed. Mad Snake was unlucky to miss out on his half century as he was dismissed on 42. After the Vipers got these two batsmen out, they didn't took any time to finish off the tail. Lions were bowled out for 293.

Vipers batsmen came out and were looking confident. On the other hand the Lion bowlers were in pressure as they had to get an early wicket. The Vipers openers made a few mistakes upfront but quickly got themselves stable and capitalized on the bowlers under pressure. They pushed the ball into gaps and rotated the strike regularly. Slowly but steadily, they put on 101 runs for the opening wicket. Just when the things started to look good for the Vipers, Holdenator struck and dismissed Ashwin. Ashwin was unlucky to miss his fifty. He goes for 43, Vipers are 101/1. Sashidharan hit 2 boundaries but didn't last long as he edged one to KX. Vipers were 110/2 and the Vipers are back in the game. Johnyatwal and Gary held things for Vipers. They were just blocking the ball and it was clearly looking that they're just trying to hold wickets. Johnyatwal was dismissed for 46. Wildwill came in and he continued from where johnyatwal left. He and Gary had another partnership going. Together they added 42 runs and were looking strong. Gary reached his half century and he levelled KX record of one of the most slowest half centuries. Finally the moment arrived that the crowd was waiting for. Gary123's inning came to an end. He made a patient 82 and gave his team a solid foudation. Almost every batsmen of the Vipers scored runs. WIldwill, Funknath and Bladescape, all got to their half centuries and Vipers declared on 402/6. Lions trail by 109 runs.

Lions started their 2nd innings under tremendous pressure as they were already 109 runs behind and had to get some runs on the board to give their bowlers something to bowl at in the last innings. The pressure clearly showed off and the Lions top order collapsed like a castle of cards. Lions were struggling at 60/5, when King Cricket and Cricketman came to the crease. They kept their patience and took Lions out of a humiliating innings defeat. Together they put on 100 runs for the 6th wicket. King Cricket made a well played 50 but didn't last long after that. Cricketman held his end and reached a well deserved fifty. Neo95 too contibuted 41 runs and with the efforts of the lower order, the Lions were successful in giving a target of 159 runs to the Vipers.

With the kind of form the Vipers batsmen showed in the 1st innings, 159 didn't seem to be a big total. The only way Lions can win it is by bowling out the Vipers. The Vipers openers were as cool as cucumber and were in no hurry whatsoever. The match was in the 1st session of day 4 and they had 2 days to chase down the total. As expected Ashwin and Gary123 carried their form from the 1st innings and scored their individual half centuries. Together they put on 134 runs for the opening wicket and washing away all the chances of the Lions winning this game. Mad Snake dismissed Gary123 but it was too late for the Lions. Ashwin socred the winning runs and the Vipers won the match comfortably by 9 wickets.
