Vipers VS Wolvies
Hello and welcome everybody to this most boring T-20 match between two most boring CCPC teams- the Vipers and the Wolvies. It's a really hot and sunny day and......phew! Look at me, I'm sweating! God knows what the players will do! The pitch is hard and flat, and is a batsman's paradise, but the bowlers might just get something out of it if they toil hard. If you win the toss- you must bat.
The Wolvies, after winning the toss decided to bat first. It was expected, though. Now let's see what the Vipy bolwers do, they need to bowl really well here, if they want to trouble the great Wolvy batting lineup.....
And...they are doing just that, great bowling by the Vipys. Don't know what has happened to the Wolvy openers, just 25 in 6 ovrs! Good God!
Lol! The Wolvies are playing like KKR! Just 102 in 15 ovrs! Yeah, they have recovered a bit, and still not a wicket has fallen- but this is T-20 match, guys......
Mah! Now they are really in trouble. 113 in 19 ovrs! They need to utilize the last over fully, if they want to win this match, otherwise it will be a walk in the park for the Vipys. You can't win a T-20 match if you score this slowly......
And, *sigh* they could hit just one boundary in the last over. 117, now they are really in deep trouble, I'm afraid it's too low a score to win a T-20, still the game's name is cricket, and here anything can happen any moment. Oh well, if they want to win they need to bowl and field like some superhumans. They can do it, they have some really talented guys in their side, but again the Vipy batting lineup is REALLY strong.....
Subh, and Aamir- you guys played well, no one can deny that, but I'm sorry, you guys were way too slow. This type of defensive batting is really rare in T-20 matches. And this might just cost the Wolvies the game. I find no explanation of this type of batting...
The Vipy bolwers did a TERRIFIC job, a really TERRIFIC job. Each and every bowler was ultra-amazing, hats off to you guys! Just hats off! How did you manage to bowl likw this in such a batting friendly surface?
Now as it stands, I'm afraid the match is not evenly poised. Its in total favour of the Vipys. Unless a big miracle happens, the VV Brigade will win this for sure. But you know the Wolvies, they are fighters, and they will fight till their last breath. They will not lose this game till they really lose it. Cheer up WW! You can do it! You can...........................
So will a miracle really happen? Or will the Vipys win this with ease? Stay tuned, I'll be back tonight. Till then, ta ta!!
