I've just read two articles (and think Nasser said it on the comms last night) where they've called the five balls that a bowler bowls a 'Set'. Almost like it can be handy to have a word to describe the grouping of deliveries.
By losing it hand over fist?one needs to understand, this is ECB trying to make money

"An over in The Hundred consists of five balls instead of the conventional six."Need a decent way to tell when the 5 balls is over too
What's wrong with waving a white card around?Need a decent way to tell when the 5 balls is over too
Sticking cricket on FTA regularly would get viewers.Fair play. But the 1st game of anything "new" will always attract curious eyes. Will be interesting to see if they hold that audience.

If you ask my opinion, NO! But seeing how popular the T10 league got and plans of having T10 at the Olympics and all, this should fit in better. Is there any need for a format between T10 and T20?
People will find and watch anything if it's regular or exciting. See the Olympics. It's always baffled me why the ECB never packaged together some kind of MOTD for the Blast and offered it to BBC/Channel 4 for Sunday mornings. With all the cricket basically being free on YouTube this year it seems remarkable that having a Blast match on terrestrial TV at the weekend is not possible.Aye 100%. Just depends on if they want "proper cricket" or just any cricket
